Guidelines & Terms of Coverage Agreement
Applies To (2026 GSF Events):

GSF 7v7 Tournaments
GSF 5v5 Tournaments
GSF Camps and Combines
GSF All-Star Basketball Games
GSF All-Star Soccer Games
Additional GSF-sponsored events throughout the 2026 calendar year
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for photographers and videographers (“Participants”) requesting and/or using GetSportsFocus (GSF) media credentials during the 2026 event season.

Media credentials are a privilege, not a right, and approval is granted at the sole discretion of GetSportsFocus. Credentials may be denied or revoked at any time for failure to comply with these guidelines.

1. Credential Request & Eligibility
All individuals seeking media credentials for GSF events must submit a 2026 Media Credential Request and receive approval from GetSportsFocus prior to covering any event.

Submission of a request does not guarantee approval or access.

2. Required Application Materials
All applicants must provide:

A completed 2026 GSF Media Credential Request Form
A clear headshot or photo (used for credential printing and verification)
A valid email address and phone number
Photographers and videographers must also provide:

A screenshot or photo of a valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID for identity verification
Applicants under the age of 18:

May be approved only if a parent or legal guardian completes and signs the GSF Minor Waiver/Release Form
May be required to have a parent or guardian present at credential pickup or during the event, at GSF’s discretion

3. Credential Use, Access & Conduct
By accepting and using a GSF media credential, Participants agree to the following:

Credential Use

Credentials must be worn and clearly visible at all times while on-site
Credentials are non-transferable and may not be shared, loaned, duplicated, or altered
Credentials are valid only for the specific GSF event(s) approved and may not be used for unrelated activities
Access Is Event-Specific

Field, court, sideline, baseline, and restricted-area access is determined solely by GSF and venue staff
Media access may vary by sport, venue, and event type
GSF reserves the right to adjust or restrict media access at any time due to safety, game operations, or venue requirements

4. Responsibility for Safety
Participants acknowledge and agree that:

They are responsible for their own safety and well-being while covering GSF events
They will follow all event rules, safety protocols, and instructions provided by GSF staff and venue personnel
GetSportsFocus is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages sustained while covering GSF events
While personal liability or health insurance is recommended, it is not required
Any personal property that is lost, stolen, or damaged is not the responsibility of GetSportsFocus

5. Content Sharing & Usage Rights
Participants agree to:

Share content (photos, videos, and other media) captured at GSF events with GetSportsFocus upon request
Grant GSF permission to use shared content solely for the promotion of GSF events, athletes, programs, and initiatives
Acknowledge that content created at GSF events is considered co-owned by the Participant and GetSportsFocus
Allow GSF to provide credit when feasible, depending on platform and format
GSF may request raw files, selected images, or edited deliverables within a reasonable timeframe following an event.

6. Professional Conduct Expectations
Participants are expected to maintain professional behavior at all times, including:

Complying immediately with all GSF staff and venue instructions
Avoiding arguments, confrontations, or disruptive behavior involving athletes, coaches, officials, staff, spectators, or other media
Refraining from malicious behavior or conduct that promotes unsportsmanlike actions
No physical altercations of any kind
Respecting the mission, tone, and values of GSF events, including youth development, sportsmanship, and community responsibility

7. Violations & Credential Revocation
Violations of these guidelines may result in:

Immediate removal from the event without warning
Revocation of credentials for the remainder of the event and/or future GSF events
Denial of future media credential requests
Potential legal action where applicable, including harassment, threats, trespassing, refusal to comply with staff or venue rules, or unsafe behavior
GSF reserves the right to deny or revoke credentials at its sole discretion to protect athletes, families, fans, staff, and event operations.

8. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
By submitting a credential request and/or accepting a GSF media credential, Participants acknowledge and agree that:

Participation is voluntary and all risks associated with covering sporting events are understood and accepted
Participants assume full responsibility for their actions and any risks incurred
GetSportsFocus is not liable for injuries, accidents, damages, or losses
Any personal property lost, stolen, or damaged is not the responsibility of GetSportsFocus

9. Communication & Contact
Approved media members are encouraged to follow @GetSportsFocus on social media for event updates, schedules, and announcements.
