2020 Arts and Crafts Fair Policies
VENDORS' MERCHANDISE: Craft items must be handcrafted, not merely assembled from manufactured parts. Artwork may include prints of original paintings, photographic works and multiple castings from original artist created molds. Jewelry vendors will be pre-juried. We allow only hand faceted, hand designed and handmade items. All clothing items must be either original designs, handmade, hand painted, hand screened. No commercial designs, decals, or stenciled allowed.
Any vendor showing at our Fair who sells commercial items will be asked to put those items away for the duration of the fair, and WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN FUTURE FAIRS.
VENDOR LIMITS FOR CATEGORIES:
Hand-crafted Jewelry (20 primary vendors only)
Hand-crafted Jewelry Only. (Must not include ANY commercial elements except fasteners such as clasps on earrings, necklaces, and bracelets). No commercial charms, pendants, etc. LIMITED TO 20 PRIMARY VENDORS (Secondary Vendors will be limited to 10% of their product - upon approval of Fair Chairman).
Vendors applying, but not initially accepted to the Fair, may join our waiting list for vendor cancellations.
T-Shirts (4 primary vendors only)
Originally designed T-Shirts Only. LIMITED TO 4 PRIMARY VENDORS. (Secondary Vendors will be limited to 10% of their product -- upon approval of the Fair Chairman).
BOOTHS (10'x10' spaces):
Vendors provide their own display booths (tents). No set up may exceed the parameters allotted to the vendors. Each individual booth space is 10'x10'. If you need more space, you will need to purchase more booth spaces. Please take care that your poles and tent weights are within the markings for your booth space, so that they do not interfere with any booth spaces adjacent to your (sides and back).
PLEASE NOTE: REGISTERED VENDORS MAY NOT LEND, SHARE, OR SELL THEIR SPACE, OR A PORTION OF THEIR BOOTH SPACE, TO ANY ONE NOT OFFICIALLY REGISTERED AS A VENDOR FOR THE FAIR.
AWNINGS are allowed (projections past the 10' x10' limitation of the booth area) provided that ALL merchandise and display tables,etc. are still within the booth walls (and within the allotted area). No hanging of products on the outside of the canopy (no hanging from your awning) NO EXCEPTIONS.
POWER: The only power access we have at the fair is reserved for our food vendors.
NO GENERATORS ALLOWED ON THE FAIRGROUNDS
Vendors must provide funds for change as there are no banking facilities in Stanley. Smart phones (for U.S. major carriers) with apps like Square work, but THERE IS NO WIFI AVAILABLE.
The Idaho Sales Tax Declaration Online Form must be completed before you can register for the Arts and Crafts Show. DO THIS NOW.

b. "Check Your Work"
c. "Submit" (it will be uploaded to the State Department)
d. "Create and Print" (select "print" * change the printer to "pdf",
save it to your computer)
3. Attach the pdf you created to this Fair application (question #1 asks for it)
*NOTE: If you can't create a PDF of the ST-124, you can take a picture of the completed form and attach it to the application instead.
Vendors must also complete a Stanley Municipal Non-Property Sales Option Tax Form (2.5%). The form will given to you towards the end of the fair on Sunday afternoon.
Once the fair is over, the Option Tax Form must be submitted along with tax payment to the City of Stanley by August 25th. Any late payments will result in late charges (.67% monthly) that must also be paid.
*You may pay your Stanley city tax at the end of the fair, at the Mamas' Booth, either by check or cash. If you pay cash you will be given a receipt.
THOSE WHO HAVE NOT PAID THE CITY TAXES FOR PREVIOUS YEARS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED TO THIS YEAR'S FAIR.
FAIR HOURS: Saturday 10-6pm, Sunday 9-4pm
Vendors must remain open until end of the closing hour of each day. No sales prior to opening hours. DO NOT BEGIN TO PACK UP UNTIL AFTER 4PM ON SUNDAY
A watchman will patrol Friday and Saturday nights. However, the Mountain Mamas are not responsible for loss or damage.
PARKING POLICY AS OF 2020:
Parking is very tight in Stanley. Each booth space will be comped one free parking pass for a car or truck. NO RV/Motorhomes or trailers are allowed in the paid parking lot (located next to the Fairgrounds). These large vehicles may be used to set up and take down, but must be parked at the vendor's lodging during Fair hours.
To ease the movement of vendor product on and off the Fair site, the private road west of the Fair site will be open for two hours after the close of the Fair on Saturday and two hours before the Fair opens on Sunday. Vendors should plan the movement of product on and off the Fair site with this in mind.
Please bring your vehicle license number and cell phone number to check in for the fair prior to setting up your booth.
After checking in at the Mountain Mamas' Booth and receiving your booth badge and comped parking pass, you may unload on the Fairgrounds and set up after 10:00 a.m. till 7pm Friday and from 7am-8:30am Saturday morning. ALL vehicles MUST be off the Fairgrounds after that time.
Vendors may replenish their stock (using the private road adjacent to the fairgrounds) for 1 hour after the fair ends on Saturday, and 1 hour before the fair begins on Sunday.
No vehicles or trailers are allowed on the grounds during Fair hours.
LOADING UP AFTER THE FAIR:
The show ends at 4pm on Sunday.
4-4:30pm please pack up your tent and all products (no vehicles on fairgrounds).
4:30-5:30pm you may bring your comped smaller car or truck onto the fairgrounds, provided you are completely packed up and ready to load (tent, tables, and products should already be completely dismantled).
5:30-8:30 pm You may bring oversized vehicles back onto the fairgrounds, provided you are completely packed up and ready to load (tents, tables, and products should be already be completely dismantled).
***NO VEHICLES SHOULD BE ON THE FAIRGROUNDS UNTIL YOUR BOOTH, EQUIPMENT, AND PRODUCTS ARE COMPLETELY PACKED UP.
DOGS, BICYCLES, SMOKING:
NO DOGS will be allowed on the Fairgrounds or in vendor booths. There will be an area for dog exercise. If you have a service dog, it must be registered at the Mountain Mamas' Booth when you check in.
NO BICYCLES are allowed on the Fairgrounds.
NO SMOKING is allowed within the Fairgrounds. A designated smoking area will be provided on the edge of the area. No exceptions. We appreciate your cooperation with enforcement of these rules.
No Camping (tent, rv, car, truck, van, etc) is allowed within the Stanley city limits except in very limited areas. There are some camping spots at the Mountain Village and The Valley Creek Motel. All these designated "camping areas" will fill fast.
There is also 'dispersed camping' which means you can park/camp almost anywhere as long as you are outside the city limits. For area forest camping information, contact the Stanley Ranger Station at (208) 774-3000.
