Welcome! Below is the nomination form for the 2025 State Chamber of the Year! (SCOTY) Please be sure to read through the submission documents before filling out your application. Application details, frequently asked questions, the process and the application form can be found HERE.
As a reminder, the purpose of this award is to highlight best practices among state chambers and to provide recognition to NASC member chambers and their leaders who have distinguished themselves by providing exceptional services and results for their members. State chambers are encouraged to apply for the award, highlighting recent achievement in one or more of the following areas: public policy, political engagement, membership & development, organizational development, communications, and membership services.
State chambers seeking recognition as “State Chamber of the Year” will demonstrate excellence in more than one of the following areas of achievement. The specified achievement will have taken place during 2024, until April of 2025. Applications with achievements prior to 2024 will not be considered. Areas of achievement include:
• Public Policy
• Political Engagement
• Membership and Development
• Organizational Development
• Best Communications Program
• Membership Services
You will be asked below how your achievement was impacted by your chamber size, resources, political and/or business climate.
