    1. All Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and one year out of High School (Graduated High School in June 2025 or Earlier)
    2. Volunteer applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis, taking into consideration availability during the Steubenville Atlantic Weekend (Volunteers with more availablity will generally be given priority)
    3. Please indicate in this form if you require on-campus accomodations during the Steubenville Atlantic Conference available at a subsidized rate of $110.00 per bed in the LeMarchant Place Residence

    Volunteers for Steubenville Atlantic 2026 are able to book accommodations  for the conference at Dalhousie University’s LeMarchant Place Residence. 


    Volunteer Accommodations include a private bedroom in a  2, 3 or 4-bedroom suite with other conference volunteers. Each suite has private three-piece washrooms and each three and four-bedroom suite includes a kitchenette with a sink, microwave and fridge.     We’re pleased to offer complimentary on-campus overnight parking to volunteers staying on campus (one permit, per room, per night). Upon check-in, we are able to provide volunteers with a campus map detailing the available parking on campus. Linen and towels are included in each room.


    Cost per volunteer accomodation for the weekend: $110.00/Bed invoiced by the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth after registration. This can be paid by E-Transfer or by Credit Card, details will be sent after registration.

    Note: The actual cost to the Archdiocese for volunteer accomodations is about $160.00 per bed for the weekend.

    The undersigned do hereby release, forever discharge and agree to hold the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth, Franciscan University of Steubenville, and the above named Parish harmless from and against any and all liability, claims, demands, lawsuits, and expenses arising from personal injury, sickness, death, or property damage of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred or suffered by the undersigned and/or the participant (If participant is under 18, or 18 and older) while attending the above activity.

    Furthermore, the undersigned hereby assume all risk of personal injury, sickness, death, damage and expense arising from the undersigned's or participant's (if participant is under 18, or 18 and older) participation in all activities, including recreation and work activities involved in the above activity. In addition, authorization and permission is hereby given to those responsible for the event furnish all necessary transportation, food, and lodging for the undersigned or participant (if participant is under 18, or 18 and older). The undersigned further hereby agree to indemnify and hold the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth, Franciscan University of Steubenville, the above named Parish, and their respective members, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the "Indemnities"), harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, lawsuits and liabilities, including attorney's fee and expenses sustained by the Indemnities as the result of the negligent, willful, or intentional acts of the undersigned and/or participant (if participant is under 18, or 18 and older).

    I agree that my picture and/or video image may be used by the conference organizers for future promotional purposes.

    If participant is under 18 years of age: We (1) are the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the participant, and hereby grant permission to participate fully in the above activity and all of its undertakings, and hereby give our permission to take said participant to doctor or hospital and hereby authorize medical treatment, including but not limited to emergency surgery; and, we fully and completely assume responsibility for all medical bills.
