APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:  DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 30, 2024

Note: Must be a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church for at least one year, member of a Sunday School Class and a participant of a Ministry of the church. 

The Application Packet Should Consist of:

• A one-page, 12 point size typed personal statement that includes:
  1. A.Student’s academic and career goals
  2. Information about interests and /or current work in serving the minority community
  3. C. Description of the student’s world-view

• A copy of most recent official transcript
• Proof of enrollment.
• Have a satisfactory academic grade point average a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, or a 3.5 on a 5.0 scale

SPECIAL NOTE - THIS APPLICATION WILL NEED TO BE COMPLETED IN ONE SESSION. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SAVE WORK AND COMPLETE LATER. BEFORE YOU START, PLEASE HAVE ALL THE NECESSARY INFORMATION READY TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION.

Scholarship Application Essay

   Your essay should include answers to the following:

•    How do you see yourself in the world around you?
•    What is your (intended) major field of study?
•    What are your academic and career goals?
•    What steps will you take to make a difference in the world?

Please type your essay on one separate sheet of paper.  Please make sure that your essay is doubled-space, 12-point sized.
