Rules to Banana Bonanza
Let’s bring some twist to our youth baseball athletes who work hard all year.
Players on the teams dress up in costumes, including banana suits, and participate in various entertaining activities. This includes dancing, performing choreographed routines.
Fan catches foul ball = out: If a fan catches a foul ball, it's an out
Banana Ball Challenge: fans can challenge plays. (Not all plays , umpires will allow some ).
No walks: Instead of walking, batter must skip to 1st base
Golden Batter Rule: teams can substitute their best hitter at any time once per inning.
Showdown tiebreaker: If the game is tied , a one-on-one showdown between the pitcher and batter occurs, with only one fielder and one out allowed.
Win the inning, get the point:Each inning is a contest. The team scoring the most runs in an inning gets a point
