Welcome to the Sunny Dayz Mural Festival 2026 MENTORSHIP PROGRAM application!

***This is for young artists ages 16-19 in the the state of Oklahoma wishing to participate in our 2026 Sunny Dayz Mentorship Program. Preference will be given to those who identify as female or a gender minority***

Sunny Dayz Mentees can expect a range of educational programming such as insights into arts administration, one on one and small group mentorship from select participating mural artists, and an opportunity to live paint during the event on May 30, 2026.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee made up of arts and community professionals based on the following criteria:

Alignment with our mission and values
Artistic interest and direction

IMPORTANT DATES

Sunday, April 5 at midnight - Deadline to apply for program
Wednesday, April 15 - All applicants will be notified via email
May 23-30 - Sunny Week! A full schedule of events and programs will be provided to accepted artists.
Saturday, May 30, 2026, 12-8pm - SUNNY DAYZ 2026 in Claremore!!

REQUIREMENTS

Artists must be 16 years old by May 1, 2026
Selected artists are required to be present in Claremore for evening meetings and events the week leading up to the festival May 23-30 and the entirety of the day of the festival May 30, 2026, 12-8pm.
