APPLICATION TIMELINE
- January 11, 2026 at midnight CST - Deadline to apply.
- Notifications will be sent via email, please make sure your email address is correct. All applicants will be contacted about their application status on or by February 28.
REQUIREMENTS
- Artists must be 18+ and identify as a woman or gender minority.
- Artists are required to be present in Claremore, OK during the festival on May 30, 2026.
- Artists are expected to be in Claremore the week prior (May 23-29) to start and complete their wall.
- In an effort to include as many artists as possible, preference will be given to those who have not yet painted with us.
ARTIST TEAMS

Artist teams are welcome! Please read the following:
- You do not have to be an already established team (in other words you are welcome to apply as a team even if you have never formally painted together)
- Teams only need to submit one application.
REVIEW

Applications will be reviewed by a selections committee comprised of 7-10 arts and community professionals. Applications will recieve points based on the following criteria:
- Following the submission guidelines. PLEASE thoroughly read all information and/or instructions before applying.
- Alignment with our mission & values
- Artistic direction and merit of past work

This next question is in reference to our Teen Mentorship Program which coincides with the festival. This program is geared towards students in Oklahoma ages 16-19yrs who are interested in visual arts (focusing on women, non-binary, and trans students).

Mentor artists will be paired with a student to work with. This will entail a scheduled info session/meeting to discuss your process and answer questions, allowing your mentee to assist with certain tasks during festival week, and overall being a source of empowerment and encouragement for them! The 2026 Mentees will be painting their own mural on the day of the festival.
