• Feeling It All: A Gathering for Global Majority and BIPOC Adults

A virtual gathering for Global Majority and BIPOC Adults
  • Feeling It All is a small virtual gathering for Global Majority and BIPOC adults who are moving through the weight of being human right now. People who are holding grief alongside gratitude. Exhaustion alongside love. Hope and uncertainty at the same time.

    DATE: July 27th, 2026

    Time: 4PM - 5:30PM

    Cost: $30/$40/$50

This space is affirming of all sex and gender identities.

    Who This Is For:
This gathering is for Global Majority adults — people who self-identify and live as Black, Indigenous, or a person of color — who are navigating what it means to be fully human.

This may be true for you:

    You feel things deeply.

You exist in a liminal space of grief, loss, exhaustion, or change.

You identify as highly sensitive, introverted, or neurodivergent.

    You want community and support.

    What Global Majority Means Here
Global Majority refers to people who are Black, Indigenous, and of color — communities that together make up the majority of the world's population. This includes people of African, Afro-Caribbean, Asian, East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian, Latinx, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, North African, Pacific Islander, and multiracial heritage, among others.

    Why This Matters

We can be grateful and exhausted in the same hour. Relieved and heartbroken in the same breath. Connected to others and deeply lonely all at once.

    What We Will Do Together
This is a small gathering. Capacity is limited.

There is no pressure to speak, share, or be seen. Your camera can stay off the entire time. You will not be called on. You will not be put on the spot.

Arrival:We begin with music and breath. A chance to actually land before anything else happens.

Reflection and Journaling: You will be invited to sit with questions like: What am I carrying right now? What feels heavy? What is still alive in me? What am I grieving? What am I grateful for?

These are invitations. You decide what to do with them, if anything.

Somatic Practices: We will move slowly through practices that help you come back to yourself — breathwork, gentle movement, guided reflection, music, silence. Every practice will be offered with options. You participate in whatever way works for your body that day.

Community: There will be space to listen, to share if you want, or to simply be present. Speaking is one way to participate. Sitting quietly is another. Both are complete.

Resources: You will leave with journaling prompts and reflection practices to keep working with what comes up after the gathering ends.

Closing We close together — honoring what we brought into the room and naming what we want to carry forward.

    What People Often Leave With

    • More room to breathe than they arrived with.
    • Language for something they had been carrying but could not name.
    • A real connection with others who gets it.
    • Permission to feel what they actually feel.

    About Your Facilitator
Tasha Hunter, MSW, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker, Certified Level 3 IFS Therapist, published author, and the founder of Ascension Growth Center, PLLC in Raleigh, NC. She is a USAF veteran with more than two decades of clinical experience working with grief, trauma, and the full complexity of what it means to be human.

She built this gathering because she knows what it is to be a Global Majority person who carries a lot, gives a lot, and does not always have a place to set it down. Her work is rooted in liberation psychology, somatic practice, and a commitment to healing spaces that do not ask you to leave parts of yourself at the door.

Capacity is limited. When it is full, it is full.

    A Word From Me
I built this gathering because I know what it is to carry a lot and have nowhere to put it.

I spend much of my life sitting with other people's grief, joy, heartbreak, and hope. And I know from my own life — not just my clinical training — what it feels like to need a place to set some of that down.

Feeling It All was made for the moments when life is beautiful and hard at the same time. When you cannot explain exactly what you are feeling, only that you are feeling a lot of it. When you know you need something but you are not sure what.

This gathering is about being in a room — even a virtual one — with other people who are also just trying to be human.

    I hope you come.

    With care,

Tasha Hunter, MSW, LCSW Therapist. Author. Consultant.
