  • Bookkeeping Engagement Terms


    1. Purpose of This Agreement
    This letter confirms our mutual understanding of the bookkeeping services Trailblazing Tax Solutions (“we,” “our,” or “us”) will provide to you (“you” or “client”). Our goal is to help you keep accurate and timely financial records so you can make informed business decisions and be prepared for tax season.

    2. Scope of Services
    We will provide the following bookkeeping services:

    • Recording and categorization of income and expenses in QuickBooks Online.
    • Monthly reconciliation of bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
    • Preparation of monthly financial reports:
      • Profit & Loss Statement
      • Balance Sheet
      • Cash Flow Statement
    • Delivery of a monthly summary highlighting key insights.
    • Monthly consultation call (up to 30 minutes) to review reports and answer questions.


    Additional services (clean-up work, payroll setup, or catch-up bookkeeping) may be provided for an additional fee.


    3. Client Responsibilities
    To ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping, you agree to:

    • Provide support in linking all necessary accounts (bank, credit card, loan, payment platforms) into QuickBooks Online.
    • Upload requested documentation (receipts, prior financials, tax returns, etc.).
    • Communicate any significant business changes (new accounts, loans, major purchases).
    • Respond promptly to questions regarding unclear or missing transactions.

    4. Fees & Payment Terms
    One-Time Bookkeeping setup fee: $250
    Monthly bookkeeping fee: $250 (billed on the 1st of each month).
    Automatic Payments: Client agrees that all monthly bookkeeping fees will be collected automatically through ACH or credit card on file using Trailblazing Tax Solutions’ secure payment processors (Stripe). A separate authorization form will be provided and must be completed before services begin. Charges will continue until termination of this agreement. Client may update or change payment methods at any time by providing written notice.

    5. Term & Termination
    This agreement will remain in effect until terminated by either party.
    Either party may terminate this agreement with 14 days written notice.
    If terminated, you remain responsible for payment of all services rendered up to the termination date.

    6. Confidentiality
    We respect and protect the confidentiality of your information. All financial and personal data you provide will be kept secure and used only for the purposes outlined in this agreement.

    7. Limitation of Services
    We will not provide legal, tax, or financial advisory services under this engagement unless separately contracted. Our role is limited to bookkeeping services as described above.

    8. Acceptance of Agreement
    By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms of this engagement.
