    • 2026 TYSA Tri-County Football Information: 
    • We are excited to announce that Tri-County has officially accepted TYSA into their Flag/Tackle program! We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity, as we know this move reflects the desires of the majority of our community.

      The Details: Our decision to join was driven directly by the feedback and interest shown in our recent football survey, which generated the necessary number of applications.

      Two Divisions: Tri- County will be fielding two divisions for the upcoming season.

      Travel & Hosting: While we will be traveling to compete in neighboring towns, we will also be hosting home games. Please note that we may not travel to every town within the conference.

      Registion Fees: Registration fees will cover uniform: Jersey & Pants. 

      Uniforms: Possible fitting for uniforms pending approval from board and scheduling with vendor. TBD. 

      YOUR COMMITTMENT: Parent's will be required to purchase helmet, shoulder pads, and football cleats (etc.). 

      Weigh ins: Dates will be determined for weigh ins (likely end of July).

      As of today, the specific conference alignments have not been officially confirmed. We are committed to keeping our families in the loop as more details emerge.

  • RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AND PARENTAL CONSENT AGREEMENT

    I, the undersigned, hereby grant permission for the above-named athlete(s) to participate in any and all activities of the Thorndale Youth Sports Association (TYSA) Football program during the 2026 season.

    1. I fully understand: (a) these activities involve risks and dangers of serious bodily injury, ("RISKS"); (b) these Risks and dangers may be caused by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Activity, the condition in which the Activity takes place, or the negligence of the "RELEASES" named below; (c) there may be OTHER RISK AND SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LOSSES either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and I FULLY ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND ALL RESPONSBILITY FOR LOSSES, COSTS, AND DAMAGES I incur as a result of my participation or that of the minor in the Activity.

    I assume all risks and hazards incidental to such participation, including transportation to and from such activities. I do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify, and agree to hold harmless the Thorndale Youth Sports Association, the organizers, respective coaches, assistants, program officials, agents, other players or parents/guardians, sponsors, supervisors, participants, volunteers, and any other persons from any and all claims for damage or injury arising from any acI further grant permission for emergency first aid to be administered to this minor as needed.

     Emergency Medical Authorization:

    First Aid: I further grant permission for emergency first aid to be administered to this minor as needed.

    Emergency Transport: In the event of a serious injury, I grant permission for the participant to be transported to the emergency room of a nearby hospital.

    Medical Treatment: Permission is granted to the hospital and its staff to provide any treatment that a physician deems necessary for the well-being of the child.tivities of this sports program.

    I hereby grant TYSA permission to use my and/or my child's name picture or likeness in any printed media or any form of advertisement. I fully renounce any and all claims upon TYSA for reimbursement for use of this material.

  • CODE OF CONDUCT

    This document presents the expectations for conduct from athletes, parents and coaches at Thorndale Youth Sports Association.
  • We hold athletes, parents, coaches, and community members to a high standard of sportsmanship. Enforcing this Code of Conduct allows TYSA to promote a safe, rewarding, and fun sports experience for our entire community.Please read the document carefully before registering for each season. Each participant and coach is required to acknowledge the Code of Conduct before the season begins, and must abide by the Code of Conduct throughout the entire season.Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action including suspension - either temporarily or permanently as determined by the Board of Directors.

  • I will put the emotional and physical well-being of youth participants ahead of a personal desire to win.

    I will respect players, coaches, officials, spectators, and families at all times.

    I will respect the decisions of officials or coaches.

    I will not engage in any violence or verbal threats or use any profanity.

    I will not yell advice to my child during a game.

    I will model good sportsmanship for all youth participants.

    I will not belittle or ridicule anyone involved in a youth sporting event–in public, private, in-person, or online.

    I will do my part to keep sports fun and positive for every youth participant.

    I will do everything to ensure my child is on time for practice and games. 

  • CODE of CONDUCT for PLAYERS

  • I will be a good sport to players, coaches, officials, opponents, and parents at every game and practice, no matter win or lose.


    I will learn the value of commitment by participating in as many practices and games as I can.


    I will encourage my teammates and praise good efforts.


    I will be honest, fair, and respectful to others at all times.


    I will aim to learn all I can from sports.


    I will arrive at practice on time and be ready to dedicate my attention to my coaches.

    I will commit to attending practices and games unless otherwise discussed in advance with a coach. 

  • Child Custody Agreement

  • In cases of divorced parents or joint custody of any kind, the guardian filling out registration (online or in-person) will be deemed the responsible person and must pay for registration at the time of or by the deadline.

    Thorndale Youth Sports Association will not get involved in disputes related to which parent is financially responsible for the athlete's registration balance.

    While we understand that family relationships can be very delicate, please do not expect TYSA to mediate the athlete's financial obligations or communications between our organization and the athlete's guardians.

  • Equipment and Financial Responsibility Agreement for Flag Football. 
    By submitting this registration form for my athlete(s), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

    Mandatory Equipment: I understand that I am required to purchase the necessary items and equipment for my child to participate in any games.


    Specific Requirements: Soft helmets and mouth pieces can be found on Amazon, online or in-store at Academy or Dicks Sporting Goods. 

    Financial Commitment: I understand and accept full financial responsibility for the costs associated with my child’s participation in the flag football program.

    Specific Requirements: I agree to purchase the TYSA-recommended helmet and pads as specified by the Association. Parents are free to purchase helmets and pads where ever they please. However, helmets are required to be white.
