Entries
Players wishing to enter the Championship should complete this form by 12pm on Tuesday 10th March 2026. An entry form should be submitted by EACH player.
Entry fees
£32 per player over 25 and £20 per player under 25.
Playing times
Competitors must expect to be available at all times during the tournament, although some allowance may be made in exceptional circumstances. Early rounds will be from 5:30pm.
Format
Best of 5 games, semi-finals and and final best of 7 games.
Best of 3 Plate Competition on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th April.
Draw
The draw will take place on Wedneseday 11th March and released on Thursday 12th March.
Rules
The Tournament will be played in accordance with the T&RA Laws of Rackets and the T&RA Rackets Tournament Rules and Procedures. Players must be full members of the T&RA (excluding associates) or the RPA.
Prize Money
In line with the Open Singles Championships, Professionals’ Prize money has been re-structured to assist with the T&RA Accounts. The amount won will increase with progress through the Championship but, as a guide, the basic milestones will be as follows:
One time appearance fee for a professional: £100
Prize Money is payable from the Round of 16 onwards
Each Professional who wins the Championship: £1200
