    British Open Singles Rackets Championship

    The Queen’s Club
    15th January – 25th January 2026

    Entries: Players wishing to enter the Championship should complete this form and submit with payment by Monday 5th January, 1pm. 

    Players will only be entered into the draw once they have paid their entry fee. If they have not paid by 5th January 2025 they will not be entered into the draw regardless of an entry form being received. Money received will constitute your playing in the event.

    Entry fee for Amateurs
    £33 per player aged over 28 on 15th January 2025 or £20 per player under 28 on 15th January 2026.

    Playing times: Competitors should indicate on their entry form any times when they are unable to play but they must be available from 15th – 18th January when the Qualifying matches will be played.

    Format
    The Qualifying Competition will be played 15th - 18th January and will consist of a knock-out competition starting with a round robin. All matches in the Qualifying Competition will be best of 3 games. The four qualifiers will then be placed into the Main Competition, where matches will be best of five until the semi-finals which are best of seven games. The Semi-Finals will be held on Friday 23rd January and the Final on Sunday 25th. Whilst the organisers will give every consideration to meeting competitors’ wishes, they cannot guarantee to accommodate all individual requirements.

    Seeding will be taken from the top 12 of the Elite World Ranking and thereafter World Rankings as of Monday 5th January 2026.

    Ranking Points: The British Open is a World Challenge Ranking event and is also eligible for Race Points towards the 2026 Challenge.

    Draw: The Draw will take place on Wednesday 7th January 2026.

    Rules: The Tournament will be played in accordance with the T&RA Laws of Rackets and the T&RA Rackets Tournament Rules and Procedures.

    Prize Money: All professionals entering the British Open Qualifying who do not make the main draw receive a one-time payment of £200.
    Any professional who qualifies for the main draw receives only prize money as below:

    • Round of 16 loser awarded £600
    • Quarter Final loser awarded £900
    • Semi Final loser awarded £1300
    • Runner Up awarded £2000
    • Winner awarded £3000
