LIABILITY WAIVER
You agree and acknowledge you are attending/participating in GIAA events and activities of your own free will and intentional act and are fully aware that possible physical injury or illness might occur as a result of attending/participating in these events. You give this acknowledgment freely and knowingly that you are, as a result, able to participate in GIAA events and hereby assume responsibility for your own well-being. You additionally agree to hold GIAA harmless in the event you incur any physical or mental injury, including illness, that might be attributed to your attendance and/or participation in the event.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Thank you for participating in Greater Iowa Apartment Association (GIAA) events and supporting the rental housing provider industry as a stakeholder. While the purpose of our events is professional and additionally can be very fun, we remind you you are representing your business and/or property, GIAA, and the rental housing industry.
Some things to remember as you are attending any GIAA events:
- The GIAA is a professional organization representing rental housing.
- GIAA reminds you to conduct yourself with dignity.
- GIAA reminds you to respect others, their opinions, and their property.
- If you consume alcohol, you will do so responsibly remembering you may be driving home at the end of a GIAA event. Do not DRINK AND DRIVE. Remember, you have industry friends and UBER you can always utilize.
- GIAA reminds you, your failure to comply and act in a professional
manner may result in suspension or termination of your GIAA
membership.
