In order to provide clear, fair, and consistent rules for external advertising in our organization’s newsletters, website, and digital screens, ensuring alignment with our mission and values, please read through this Terms & Conditions and acknowledge that you understand these requirements.
Who Can Advertise?
Nonprofits — receive one free issue for our newsletter.
Small Businesses and other programs— Can advertise at the following rates:
- On our newsletters for $50/per issue
- On our website for $60/month
- On our Masjid App for $250/month, click here to submit
Event Type Restriction
- Advertisers must clearly designate whether an event is an ICOI event or a non-ICOI event at the time of submission and in all related promotional materials.
- Any event that is not officially organized, endorsed, or sanctioned by ICOI may not be advertised, promoted, or represented in any manner as a collaboration, partnership, or affiliation with ICOI or the Village.
- The ICOI and Village names, logos, trademarks, and branding elements are strictly prohibited from use in connection with non-ICOI events unless prior written authorization is expressly granted by ICOI.
- Misrepresentation of an event’s status or unauthorized use of ICOI or Village branding may result in rejection or removal of the advertisement and revocation of advertising privileges.
Content Requirements
- All advertisements must adhere to our mission and values. If an ad conflicts with our values or mission, we reserve the right to reject or pull it.
- We reserve the right to remove any advertisement at any time, for any reason (e.g. non‑compliance, conflict, etc.).
Formatting & Technical Requirements
Ad submissions must comply with the following formats.
- For Newsletters: 1920 × 1080 pixels OR 16:9 ratio
- Other acceptable formats: 1080 × 1350 pixels OR 4:5 ratio
If the ad does not meet these specs, the request will be rejected.
Submission & Approval
- Advertiser must submit finalized Ad content, including all text, images, and formatting, before the start of the advertising period.
- Advertiser must indicate desired medium(s), and contact information.
- We will review submissions for compliance with formatting, content, mission, and event‑type restrictions.
- All applicable fees must be paid in advance of placement.
- Once approved and paid, We will place the Ad in the agreed medium(s).
Payment
- All applicable fees must be paid in advance of publishing.
Removal/Rejection, & Termination
- We reserve the right to pull or remove any Ad at any time, for any reason (e.g. non‐compliance, content issues, misalignment with Mission).
- If content is found to violate these Terms, We may terminate this Agreement immediately and without refund.
Intellectual Property and Limitation of Liability
- Advertiser must have all rights (copyright, trademark, etc.) to use all content in the Ad (images, text, logos).
- Advertiser grants Us a license to display the Ad in the agreed medium(s) for the duration of the Agreement.
- We have no obligations to use or continue using the Ad past the agreed period.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the placement or removal of advertisements.
- Advertiser agrees to indemnify and hold Us harmless for any claims related to the content of their Ad (e.g. intellectual property, defamation, etc.).
Term & Renewal
- This Agreement begins when We accept the Ad submission and payment.
- The term is one advertising period (monthly, as per selected medium).
- Renewal or further placements must follow the same submission, approval, and payment process.
