    The Artisan Market is a juried fair which will take place in the large Onekama Consolidated School Gym at 5016 Main St. on Saturday, November 22nd. from 10:00am -3:00pm. The Market showcases original artwork in all media created by more than 30 local artisans and craftspeople.   • Terms of participation

    The goal of the Portage Lake Association is to provide the public with a festive holiday art fair experience that is of high quality and variety, while offering participating artists an enjoyable opportunity to sell their work. Artists are responsible for their own booth displays, setup, and sales, and will keep 100% of their proceeds.
  • Dates + Time

    Please submit your application as soon as possible. Booth fees must be submitted within two weeks of acceptance. The show will be held Saturday, November 22nd at the Onekama Consolidated School. Artist set-up will begin at 8:00 am, the fair will be open to the public from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
  • Media

    The Christmas in Onekama Artisan Market is a juried art fair. All media are accepted. Items must be original in design and handmade. Reselling of manufactured items or commercially made products is not permitted. Prints and decorated items must be comprised of elements created by the artist.
  • Submission Guidelines

    Each applicant must submit four digital images for consideration, including three of current work and one of a fully stocked booth. Artists working in more than one medium should have all media represented in their image set. Select "Multiple Media" in the application drop-down menu.
  • Fees

    There are no application fees. If accepted, your booth fee will be $40.00 for a 10'x10' booth. A double booth is $75.00. You will be asked to submit your booth fee within two weeks of your acceptance. The booth fee is non-refundable after October 22nd unless the Portage Lake Association cancels the event.
  • Other Policies

    If accepted, you give the Portage Lake Association permission to use your name, images, or media in promotional materials. The artist(s) must be present in their booth, no agents or representatives.
