The Skeleton Crawl is a curated annual creepy pop-up exhibition in NYC. It exists to showcase emerging and established artists in all mediums through the presentation of dark, curious, & surreal works. Our exhibition hours are at night and guests wander the gallery with a flashlight! Want to join the Crawl community? Please apply. We would love to see your work.
Who can apply?
Any artist worldwide! Accepted NYC area artists have the opportunity to have their work exhibited at the gallery. Accepted artists from everywhere else in the world will be included in the Virtual Exhibition.
What type of work can be submitted?
Any work that falls into the following atmospheres are appropriate to apply: curious, whimsical, dark, morbid, oddity, surreal, mourning, distraught, yearning, memory, solitary, punk, moody, abstract, expressionist, angst, narrative, political, science fiction, poetic, forensic, spooky, pop art, Halloween, and obviously - skeletal. There is no submission fee, so let us be the judge if your work will fit the theme!
What mediums are we looking for?
Any medium is welcome including, but not limited to: dance, poetry, painting, illustration, printmaking, photography, installation, drawing, music, performance, video, film, essay, metalwork, object, sculpture, digital, textile, assemblage. We are always seeking new ways to show and experience work!
