A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking confirmation. Deposits can be made via Venmo or in person. The 75% left of custom order is due the day before pickup unless agreed upon in order process for payment in cash. The deposit is non refundable unless the order is cancelled 2 weeks before the due date of the order. Orders exceeding $250.00 is due three days before the pickup and/or delivery of custom order. There is a delivery fee of $20.00 added to order if delivery location is over 20 miles from bakery. The delivery fee will increase if over 40+ miles to a determined price during order process.
ALLERGEN WARNINGS! The bakery offers custom baked goods made with standard ingredients unless otherwise agree upon during the order process. While reasonable efforts are made to avoid cross contamination, this is a cottage home bakery and is not allergen free. ALLERGENS MAY INCLUDE, WHEAT, EGGS, MILK/DAIRY, SOY, NUTS, FISH, FRUITS, CITRUS. The Baker Melissa Wright of Mel's Sweets and Treats will not be held liable for any allergy related conditions or reactions caused by consumption of baked goods.
ONCE THE ORDER IS DELIVERED OR PICKED UP, ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONDITION AND SAFE KEEPING OF ORDER IS TRANSFERRED TO THE CUSTOMER. THE BAKER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THE ORDER BECAUSE OF MIS HANDLING, DUE TO WEATHER, CAR RIDES, IMPROPER STORAGE, AND/OR EVENTS OUT OF THEIR CONTROL. THE CLIENT AGREES TO PROVIDE SUITABLE DISPLAY SPACE, TABLE OUT OF SUN/HEAT, AND MOISTURE OR PROPER STORAGE SPACE.
THIS AGREEMENT REPRESENTS THE ENTIRE UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AND SUPERSEDES ANY PRIOR VERBEL AND WRITTEN AGREEMENT. NO AMENDMENTS OR MODIFICATIONS SHALL BE VALID UNLESS IN WRITING SIGNED BY BOTH CLIENT AND OWNER MELISSA WRIGHT.
