    Certifiers and Verifiers

  • This survey aims to understand how certifiers, registries and verifiers currently assess, validate, and audit carbon projects and carbon-related claims.

    The Open Geospatial Carbon Registry (OGCR) is an EU-funded project developing open digital infrastructure to support the lifecycle of carbon projects - including monitoring, reporting, verification, and registry functions - in alignment with emerging European frameworks such as the Carbon Removal Certification Framework (CRCF).

    Rather than designing these tools in isolation, the OGCR project is working together with certifiers, verifiers, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure that the tools align with verification workflows, accreditation requirements, and scientific standards.

    The survey is anonmynous and should not take longer than 10 to 12 minutes to fill in.
