OGCR - Corporate Buyers
  • OGCR Stakeholder Survey

    Corporate Buyers
  • This survey explores how companies engage with land-based climate solutions, including both supply chain interventions and carbon credit purchases.

The Open Geospatial Carbon Registry (OGCR) is an EU-funded project developing open digital infrastructure to support the lifecycle of carbon projects - including monitoring, reporting, verification, and registry functions - in alignment with emerging European frameworks such as the Carbon Removal Certification Framework (CRCF).

OGCR supports two emerging approaches under the EU Carbon Removals and Carbon Farming (CRCF) framework:
    • Supply chain interventions linked to corporate Scope 3 targets, and
    • Carbon credit purchases used to address residual emissions or voluntary climate commitments.

Your input will help ensure that the tools being developed reflect the needs and decision processes of corporate buyers.

The survey is anonmynous and should not take longer than 10 to 15 minutes to fill in.

    Thanks for your support.
If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to ogcr-project@opengeohub.org.

  • Profile Information

  • Which of the following best describes your organisation's primary approach to land-based carbon activities?

    • Stream A: We are setting or pursuing corporate climate targets (e.g. SBTi, CNZS) and seek to integrate land-based interventions (e.g. reduced-emissions, regenerative practices, soil carbon projects) into our value chain to achieve Scope 3 reductions.
    • Stream B: We are looking to purchase high-quality, nature-based carbon credits (e.g. soil carbon removals, afforestation, peatland restoration) to meet residual emission obligations, ongoing emission responsibilities, or voluntary compensation commitments.
    • Stream C: Neither accurately describes our situation.
  • Please select the stream that describes your organisation's primary approach best:*
  • Stream A: Value Chain Interventions

  • Scope 3 Levers, Targets & Interventions

Companies use different approaches to reduce Scope 3 emissions in agricultural supply chains. This section identifies which approaches your organisation uses and explores land-based interventions in more detail.
  • Which of the following approaches does your organisation currently use to reduce Scope 3 emissions in its agricultural value chain?
  • In your current Scope 3 accounting and reporting, does your organisation apply only emission reductions, or do you also account for land-based carbon removals?
