We will need to gather some info to sucessfully complete this procedure.

Here is what we need to know:

    • Location and identification of the laser power supply and optoisolator board

    Prep

Before attempting diagnostics or repairs on the machine, make sure you have all power switches off and have the machine power cable removed from its outlet, so the system is completely deenergized. And take before pics always.

If this test is a success, the laser beam power will be emitted. Precautions should be taken such as closing all the other machine doors and removing objects from the path of the laser beam prior to the test. Also make sure your chiller is on and pumping chilled water as this test can bypass the Water Protection as well.
