Thriving Inclusive Community Organization (TICO) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering community wellbeing across Rwanda. Established in 2019 in Kigali, TICO's mission centers on enhancing health, socio-economic development, human rights, and inclusivity. This Youth Entrepreneurial Design Fellowship- Cohort 3 is a fully sponsored fellowship by TICO in partnership with different partners and is designed to guide participants through the dynamic journey of entrepreneurship with a strong emphasis on sustainability. 🗓For? - The fellowship is best for any youth categorized as vulnerable.

🎯 40 Fellows Across Africa,
youth form the backbone of our future, brimming with ideas and energy. Yet, many young people from marginalized and vulnerable groups, including young women, people living with disabilities, refugees and other minorities often face systemic barriers that hinder their full participation in economic and social development. With about 93% of the youth in Africa willing to engage in an innovation activity, and with a rapidly changing world, there lies a great opportunity for coaching and training of the youth on entrepreneurship design and innovation to provide these youth with the skills, resources, and networks needed to become successful entrepreneurs and leaders in their communities. This initiative seeks to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development among these youth who often face systemic challenges and discrimination. Over the span of eight comprehensive modules, we will explore the intersection of innovative business practices and sustainability, equipping participants with the knowledge, attitude and skills needed to launch and grow enterprises that are not only profitable but also socially, environmentally and socially responsible. - Be 21-30 years
- A resident of Rwanda
- With a bachelor's degree or a university student
- Be available for the 5 days duration of the program starting from June 23rd 2025 June 27th 2025
- Be available for a Group Community Action between June 27th 2025 to August 22nd 2025.
- Passionate about sustainability and entrepreneurship
- Youth from Vulnerable groups are encouraged to apply.
Note that, ( please read carefully)
- All selected participants will be required to attend an online interview so as to get a fellowship pass.
- You will learn along other 40 participants.
- All applicants will be awarded with a certificate upon completion of the fellowship.
- Only those selected will be contacted
- Before placement, you will be required to satisfy the organization with any other documents as may be required.
- The training and excursion will run for 5 days with an Group Ideation and Community Action for three months between June 27th to August 22nd 2025.
- You will be informed on your training location.
- Your meals, transport reimbursement, training and community excursions costs will be provided for during the fellowship.
- We will not cater for accommodation.
- Graduation Gala Dinner will be catered for. This will happen on the last day of the fellowship- 22nd August 2025.
- We do not cater for travel costs outside Rwanda, travel documents and insurance and health insurance.
- The training will be delivered entirely in English and Kinyarwanda.
- The fellowship is fully funded
How Apply
The basic steps for submitting your application are:
i. Fill the details in the form provided
ii. The form should be submitted within the application period deadline- June 5, 2025.
iii. Successful applicants will be contacted within 3-5 days after closure of the call for interview.
iv. Upon selection, you will be introduced to other leaders and be added in the leader's community for induction and communication.
