  • We’re excited to invite you to join us for a special Tidal Market Easter Egg Hunt & Spring Market Event this April as we kick off the countdown to our upcoming market season in May!

    This family-friendly event will feature an Easter egg hunt, community activities, and a spring-style market highlighting our wonderful vendors. It’s a great opportunity to connect with customers early, showcase your products, and help build excitement for the Tidal Market season ahead.

    We would love to have you be part of this fun, festive kickoff. Whether you’re selling, promoting your business, or simply engaging with the community, your participation helps set the tone for a successful and vibrant season at Tidal Market.

    To join this event as a vendor, please submit the completed application and appropriate licensing/permit information no later than 4:30pm on Monday, February 16, 2026 (Do not submit payment until you have been accepted into the Market. 

    In the event of inclement weather, vendors should plan to participate on the listed rain date. Any weather-related updates or confirmations will be communicated in advance.

    If you are already an approved vendor of the farmers market, there's no need to submit any other permit/licensing information if we already have it. Each vendor must be fully set and prepared by 8:45 am, and you can begin setting up from 7:30am.   • VENDORS FEE: The fee for this special Easter market is separate from the yearly cost or any cost towards the actual 2026 farmers market season. In order to provide enough candy and easter eggs for the community the vendor fee will be $15, plus a donated item for the raffle basket to be collected by the market manager at the beginning of the event. 

  • All food vendors not an approved vendor for our 2026 seson must provide the following documents that apply to your business:

    Vendors must comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws along with health and safety requirements and with applicable Town policies, procedures and directives. Additionally, each vendor must obtain and provide the Market Manager with all applicable federal, state and/or local licenses, permits and certifications required for its Market activities.

  • MARKET VENDOR GUIDELINES

    1. This Easter market will operate (weather permitting), and the rain date will be March 29, 2026 from 9am-2pm. The market is located at 1313 Frederica Road in Frederica, DE.
    2. Each vendor is given a 10x10 space.  Vendors are required to bring their own tent, weights, tables/table coverings.  Each canopy leg must be weighted down and secured by 20 lbs to a total of at least 80 lbs on the tent. The market managers may advise vendors to bring extra weights if there is going to be a windy day. Vendors are required to make immediate safety changes to their set-up, if/when directed by the market manager.
    3. Should it become necessary to cancel the market, information will be posted on the Town's website and the Tidal Market Facebook page along with a group email or text will be sent to all vendors. All efforts will be made to send cancellation of the market at the earliest time possible.
    4. NO REFUNDS or credit will be given out if you miss this event.  If you come after 8:30 am you forfeit your opportunity to vent and will not be permitted to set up.
    5. Food vendors must come from the local area, which means that all produce or products sold must originate from a farm or commercially licensed kitchen existing within a 100-mile radius of the Town of Frederica.
    6. Set Up time: Vendors may arrive as early as 7:30 am for set up and must be ready to sell at 8:45 am. THERE WILL BE NO SELLING PERMITTED BEFORE 9:00 am.
    7. The Town of Frederica is promoting a "Zero Waste Campaign," encouraging sustainability at Tidal Market. We are requesting your cooperation by using environmentally friendly packaging alternatives, like brown paper bags https://www.webstaurantstore.com/15969/paper-bags.html. Tidal Market will do its best to encourage customers to use personal tote bags.
  • IMPORTANT NOTES

    Any changes in the product(s) sold listed on your application must be submitted to Market Manager in advance for approval.

    The Market Managers reserves the right to accept or reject any application without explanation or comment.

    Vendors must keep their market stands and spaces in a clean and sanitary condition. All produce must be kept off the ground. Vendor products should be of high quality. Products that do not met this quality criteria, maybe removed at the market manager's discretion. Vendors who fail to comply with this requirement are subject to suspension or termination from the Tidal Market and any future events. Vendors will not sell other items not included on their vendor list. Also, vendors will not sell yard sale/ flea market type of items at the market.

  • Liability Waiver

    I, the undersigned, agree to comply and abide by the terms defined in the tidal market guidelines.The Applicant agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Town of Frederica, its employees, and Tidal Market staff and associates from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses, including property damage or personal injury, arising from the Applicant’s participation, including the setup, operation, and removal of materials, to the extent caused by the Applicant or its agents, contractors, or employees.
