Hello potential 2024 Clients, IGAHU's Contract This contract is provided in the hopes of being transparent about the services that will and will not be offered moving forward each tax year. Please read and be sure to understand all the points mentioned before deciding to use our services for this tax season! -Hopefully after clearly understanding what our company can provide for you; Should you choose us for your tax service needs.
Our fees are NOT one set fee!
- Although we do our best to be competitive our fees are not set in stone.
- We determine your fee based on the amount of complexity of your return.
- This means that last year’s price is not necessarily going to be this year’s price!
- We can give you a general idea of what we will charge to submit your return prior to submission.
- This will only be a guestimate; you will know the exact fees once your signature documents are sent to you.

BE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR FEE AND WHAT IS INCLUDED PRIOR TO SIGNING YOUR TAX DOCUMENTS!

The fee being charged includes the following:
- One on One review of your yearly expenses.
  - Including answering any of your tax questions.
  - Input and submission of your tax documents and return to the IRS.
  - Providing you with copies of all documents submitted.
- Audits
  - We will store copies of all supporting documentation provided by you for easy access for up to 3 years in case of an audit.(Email documentation/proof to igahutaxprepservice@gmail.com)
  - Documentation can be sent to you upon request.
  - Audit protection is provided by our 3rd party team of lawyers. The audit protection only applies to your federal return, not state.
  - This fee is mandatory and deducted from each return. Contact information for the 3rd party will be included with your tax documentation. So please review all of your documents.
  - Please ensure that all information provided by you concerning the filing of your taxes is accurate and verifiable. Should you get audited this information would need to be submitted to the 3rd party team by you, for them to assist you with your audit.
What is NOT included!

  - If you are unclear about this one, we will not produce documentation that you have not provided to us for use on or with your tax return.
  - We will be happy to assist you with any questions regarding documentation that can be used to support your tax return.
  - We can also assist in providing templates and examples upon request.
- We will NOT manufacture any information on your behalf, for the purpose of assisting you with an audit.
  - Please make sure the information you submit on Our provided tax questionnaire is truthful and accurate.
  - We will not add to your deductions for you.
  - You will need to ensure that the information you provide to us in writing is sufficient for your tax preparation.
- Amendment of tax return (for any year)
  - This is a separate fee and process.
  - Fees will vary based on complexity and are to be paid in advance.
- Status updates on your tax return
  - Once your return is submitted to the IRS it is YOUR responsibility to keep up with the current status by utilizing the “Where’s My Refund” link on IRS.gov.

- All W2s and/or 1099sPrevious year tax return if you did not use us the prior year.
- Dependent(s) Information (Name, DOB, SSN)
- All business invoices of wages received or paid out.
- Paid expenses, receipts Mileage Logs, Work Logs, etc.
- Form 1098-T if applicable (Tuition Expense)
- Form 1095-A if applicable (Marketplace)
- Form 1099-R (401K Withdrawal)
- Any forms received for (Gambling, SS/Disability, Etc.

What is a household employee?

Documentation Requirements:

We will need the following for each dependent.
Please provide all that apply to your dependent:
- The dependent’s social security card. If the dependent was issued a Social Security Number (SSN) by the -Social Security Administration.
- School Records for school age dependents.
- Daycare records for none-school age dependents.
- U.S. citizen, national or resident (Exception: Don’t send us these documents if the dependent was born in the U.S).
- Relationship Exception: Don’t send us these documents if the dependent isn’t related to you (The dependent’s birth certificate, and if needed, the birth and marriage certificates of any individuals, including yourself, that prove the dependent is related to you. For an adopted dependent, send an adoption decree or proof the child was lawfully placed with you, or someone related to you for legal adoption. For a foster child, send proof of authorized placement.).
- Residency (Documents to show where you lived and where each dependent lived for the entire year, such as: A rental property lease or statement from the property owner or agent with the address, parties to the lease, time period of the lease, and names of persons residing there; mortgage payment records or real estate tax statement. − Records for school or childcare enrollment, government benefits, legal or financial matters, medical care or health insurance, or other similar documents showing your address and the address of the dependent. Or, if you’re the non-custodial parent of a child whose parents are divorced, separated or living apart: − Form 8332, Release/Revocation of Release of Claim to Exemption for Child by Custodial Parent, in effect for the year we are examining, and − Divorce decree, separation agreement or custody order if in effect for the year we’re examining.).
- Support Exception: (Information to show who provided the dependent’s financial support for the year) Don’t send us these documents if the dependent was under age 17 at the end of the year we’re examining AND either: • Lived with you for more than half the year we’re examining, or • Lived with someone who signed Form 8332 for more than half the year we’re examining.
- Disabled dependent (If the dependent was over age 18 at the end of the year we’re examining and was permanently and totally disabled, send us documents to prove the dependent was permanently and totally disabled. See Publication 501, Exemptions, Standard Deduction, and Filing Information, for the definition of permanently and totally disabled)
- Student (If the dependent was over age 18 at the end of the year we’re examining and was a full-time student, send us school records showing the dependent was considered a full-time student for any part of any five months of the year we’re examining. The school records must show the child’s name and the dates the child attended school during the year we’re examining. See Publication 501, Exemptions, Standard Deduction, and Filing Information, for the definition of a student.)
- Child who is the qualifying child of more than one taxpayer (If the dependent is the qualifying child of any other taxpayer(s): − Documents to show whether the dependent resided with you for the longest period of time during the year, and − The name and, if known, the SSN or ITIN of any other individual(s) who can claim the dependent as a qualifying child.)
- U.S. resident alien – If a dependent isn’t a U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident with a green card, the dependent must have been present in the U.S. for a minimum number of days. See ‘Substantial Presence Test’ in Publication 519, U.S. Tax Guide for Aliens.
- Most States require the following documentation: Copies of legal, government-issued documents are required to show your relationship to the dependent. These might include tax returns, marriage license, school records, birth certificate and/or bank statements, based on the dependent you're covering (spouse, biological child, adopted child etc.).
