WAIVER
ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER OF LIABILITY, AND RELEASE AGREEMENT
I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that my participation in the A Fierce Green Ride ("Event") is a potentially hazardous activity that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis, or death. These risks may arise from my own actions, the actions of others, equipment failures, weather conditions, trail hazards, wildlife encounters, or other causes.
I acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event. I affirm that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for this endurance mountain biking event and that my participation is of my own free will.
WAIVER AND RELEASE
In consideration of my acceptance as a participant in the Event, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the Event organizers, sponsors, landowners, volunteers, affiliated organizations, and any other associated parties (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising out of my participation in the Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
INDEMNIFICATION
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) that may arise due to my participation in the Event, including claims resulting from my negligence or willful misconduct.
MEDICAL CONSENT
I grant permission for emergency medical treatment to be administered to me if deemed necessary. I acknowledge that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred as a result of my participation in the Event. I further understand that medical personnel may not be readily available during the Event.
EQUIPMENT AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
I agree to abide by all safety rules and regulations set forth by the Event organizers, including wearing a certified helmet at all times while riding. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for the maintenance and condition of my bicycle and equipment.
MEDIA RELEASE
I grant the Event organizers permission to use my name, likeness, photographs, and video recordings in promotional materials, social media, and other Event-related media without compensation.
GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Arizona. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that state.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND SIGNATURE
I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO ITS CONDITIONS. I UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE.
