- B) Hire a map-integrated, Trackleaders rental SPOT 'Gen3' tracker
- C) Register to use our Ping phone app (iOS and Android)
- D) Activate a SPOT Gen3/Gen4 on a Trackleaders subscription
Payment / check-out is through PayPal (account not required).
The live tracking map can be found on the homepage at trackleaders.com
Once the tracking map is created, participants should show on tracker within a half hour of registration.
You can use the 'Edit Submission' link in your confirmation email to make changes to your profile, tracking info, etc.
RENTAL NOTES
- Batteries: Rental SPOT Gen3 trackers do NOT include batteries. One set of Energizer Ultimate lithium batteries should last the duration of the event, but two sets is a safe bet.
- Tracker Pick-up: Rental trackers are *NOT SHIPPED DIRECT TO ATHLETES* but will be available for pick-up on-site, pre-race.
- Tracker Return: Participants are responsible for timely return of rental devices upon finish or scratch. SPOT Return Instructions.

App instructions:

Run the App. Enter your phone# (same phone# you just registered with). Start tracking. You should see yourself pop up on the map within a minute or two. Let us know if you don't (info@trackleaders.com).

Fire up the app and turn tracking on at the start of the event, then have a great ride!

First response is to summon local emergency services (Sheriff, SAR, State Trooper). If you USE SOS, be prepared to assume all responsibilities (financial / legal) of such a response.

By receiving the rental SPOT, I agree to take full responsibility for loss or damage to the Rental up to the cost of replacement ($99.99 for SPOT Trace)

I agree to promptly return my SPOT Rental to Trackleaders within 48 hours of finishing or scratching (if not returned to race staff)
