the #1 goal of treat gallery is to help others. Our exhibitions and partnerships raise funds for charities and non profit organizations. We are a group of creatives who use contemporary art as a tool to help others. While the parameters of this application may seem unconventional, please refer to the above image as a guide to what we're looking for. The end goal is a colorful, clean rainbow-esque grid from floor to ceiling.
The content is open, the type of art is open (photography, prints, illustrations, etc) but the art must feature one color in 75% or more of the piece, and it must be a square. Please keep in mind that upon acceptance, we will take your image and make it available in an edition of 5, so if you submit a drawing or an original piece, we will be selling a reproduction of this. We recommend photography and digital illustration for this project, but we welcome all submissions. Black and White photography is also welcome, as long as there is a dominant shade in the work.
1. Prices quoted on this form will remain valid for the duration of the art fair and consignment period (+30 days after the fair.) Upon completion of a sale, the artist and treat gallery agree to the following 3-way split, with the charity from Satellite being the New York division of the Human Rights Campaign, and the charity from PULSE being onePULSE.
artist: 33.3% treat gallery: 33.3% charity: 33.3%
If your work sells for $150, the payout will be as follows:
artist: $50 treat gallery: $50 charity: $50
In the condition a client if offered a discount on the work, the split discount will be taken out from treat gallery's cut.
2. The artwork submit will be printed courtesy of treat gallery. The work submit will be available in a limited edition of 5, and will be printed on either an aluminum panel, or a 10x10 matte or gloss sheet of paper (the artist will choose their preferred finish if we do not go the aluminum.) As this project progresses, the installation will take shape, and we will reach out with specific details.
