    We look forward to welcoming you to Tallahassee, Florida, for the 2026 TriBeta National Convention. All convention attendees must complete their own registration using this form.

  • Convention Experience Options

    🎓 1. Full Convention Experience (All-Inclusive) — $350

    Immerse yourself in the complete TriBeta National Convention experience. This all-inclusive option includes on-campus housing and meals for the duration of the convention, along with full access to all presentations, poster sessions, workshops, and scheduled programming.

    Connect with fellow members, engage with research across disciplines, and fully participate in the national TriBeta community.

    Field trips and upgraded housing options are available separately.

     

    🧭 2. Commuter Experience — $250

    Designed for attendees who prefer to arrange their own lodging, the Commuter Experience provides full access to all convention programming, including presentations, poster sessions, workshops, and scheduled events.

    Meals during the convention are included, allowing you to stay energized and engaged throughout the experience.

    Field trips and optional upgrades are available separately.


    🔬 3. Presentation Day Pass (Thursday Only) — $150

    Join us for Presentation Day, the centerpiece of the convention. This option includes access to all oral and poster presentations scheduled for Thursday, offering a full day of student research and academic exchange.

    Ideal for local attendees or those with limited availability.

     

    👥 4. Guest Experience — $200

    The Guest Experience is designed for non-presenting attendees, family members, or guests accompanying participants. This option provides access to full convention programming and meals throughout the event.  Shared accommodations with a full experience attendee is included.  Guests are not eligible to present research.

  • Research Presentation Information

    Students are encouraged to attend the TriBeta National Convention whether or not they are presenting. The questions below apply only to students who will be presenting research and help us plan presentation sessions, judging, and program materials.

    To help with program formatting, please provide the following information for your abstract. Please note, if co-presenting research, only one presenter should upload the abstract. Each co-presenter will include the full title of the research abstract to aide in correct pairing of co-presenters.

  • 1st place recipients at TriBeta district/regional conventions may receive up to $900 in travel/registration grant reimbursement to attend the National Convention. Travel grant funds may be used to cover national convention registration and field trip fees, if desired.

  • Travel Grant Funding

    Any TriBeta undergraduate member can apply for up to $300 in travel grant funding to attend the national convention. 

    This can be applied only for travel funds to attend the convention, not for convention registration.  If you would like to be sent the application form to apply for travel grant funding, please indicate that below.  You will be sent an email with the application link. 

    Some institutions cover registration fees while travel grant funds are used for travel expenses. You may update this selection later if needed, if you need to check with your chapter advisor or institution.

    Any remaining travel grant funds may be reimbursed for eligible travel expenses in accordance with TriBeta travel grant guidelines.

  • Judging Participation

    Faculty judges play a vital role in both evaluating undergraduate research and supporting student presenters. The following questions help us assign judges fairly, avoid conflicts of interest, and, whenever possible, schedule advisors so they may attend their students’ presentations. An evaluation rubric is provided.
  • Housing Information

    TriBeta provides on-campus housing accommodations for convention attendees. Housing assignments are made to support attendee comfort, safety, and logistical needs. While we make every effort to honor roommate requests, assignments cannot be guaranteed. All individuals listed must also be registered for the convention.
  • Housing Type Selection

    Standard convention housing is provided on campus in residence hall suites.  Each suite contains two bedrooms each with two twin beds, two bathrooms, and shared living/kitchen area.

    • Student attendees are housed 4 per suite (2 students per bedroom)
    • Faculty attendees are housed in shared residence suites, each with a private bedroom and bathroom.

    Solo bedroom or solo suite options are available for an additional charge, subject to availability.

     

    Linens Provided

    On-campus housing includes a full linen set for each attendee. Linens provided include a fitted sheet, flat sheet, comforter, pillow, bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth. Attendees staying in on-campus housing do not need to bring their own linens or towels unless desired.

  • Convention Logistics & Attendance

    The following questions help us coordinate housing, meals, transportation, and event planning. Please select the options that best reflect your attendance plans. For those flying into Tallahassee, shuttle service will be coordinated to the best of our ability. We will contact you to obtain flight arrival and departure information closer to the convention.
  • Convention T-shirt

    Designed by the Sigma Tau host chapter, the 2026 National Convention T-shirt incorporates science-themed elements and TriBeta branding in a unisex style, available in adult sizes Small through XX-Large.  The t-shirt proof will be posted soon.

    The 2026 National Convention T-shirt is included with your registration fee and is available by pre-order only. Quantities are limited, so please pre-order with your registration to ensure size availability. The included convention T-shirt may not be exchanged for other TriBeta merchandise.

    Attendees will receive their convention T-shirt when they check in at the convention registration table.

  • Field Trips

    Convention attendees have multiple field trip options to participate in. Participation in field trips is not required, but strongly encouraged. Detailed descriptions, photos, and links for each option are provided below. Please review the field trip overview before making your selection.
  • Silent Auction Contributions

    Back by popular demand! Our Silent Auction was a highlight of the 2024 National Convention, raising over $800 in support of TriBeta and generating a lot of excitement among attendees. We invite convention attendees to contribute an item if they wish—creative, science-inspired, handmade, or nature-themed items are especially popular.
  • Bring your Silent Auction item(s) with you to the convention.  Drop-off instructions will be provided at the registration table as you arrive at the convention.  Payments for Silent Auction items can be made in cash, Venmo, or PayPal. 

  • Additional Information

    Please share any additional information related to your participation in the convention that was not addressed elsewhere in this form. This may include accessibility needs, special circumstances, or other details that would be helpful for planning purposes. If an attendee is celebrating a birthday while at convention, please let us know.

  • Registration Payment & Questions

  • Once the registration form is submitted, the National Office will review it and an invoice will be generated via GreekTrack, typically within one business day. The invoice will be emailed and payment can be made through the link provided on the invoice.

    Who receives the invoice:

    • If you are paying individually, the invoice will be sent directly to you.
    • If your chapter is covering costs, the invoice will be sent to the chapter/advisor.
