    The West Region, District 1 convention is being hosted by the Epsilon Chi Chapter at the New Mexico Tech campus in Socorro, New Mexico.

    The registration fee is $25 per attendee. Attendees may pay through this registration form individually, or advisors may pay for the entire group at once.

    Students are encouraged to attend the convention whether or not they are presenting. The questions below apply only to students who will be presenting research and help us plan presentation sessions, judging, and program materials.

  • Judging Participation:

    Faculty judges play a vital role in both evaluating undergraduate research and supporting student presenters. The following questions help us assign judges fairly, avoid conflicts of interest, and, whenever possible, schedule advisors so they may attend their students’ presentations. An evaluation rubric is provided.

  • Convention Logistics & Attendance

    The following questions help us coordinate catering and event planning. Please select the options that best reflect your attendance plans.

  • Friday Evening

    Check in will begin at 4:00pm, with a meet and greet happening at 5:00pm.  Food will not be provided during this.  The opening speaker will start the convention at 8:00 am on Saturday.

  • Registration Payment

    Chapters may pay for the registration fee for their student members to attend the convention. An invoice can be generated upon request. Payment can be made online via credit card or with a check on the day of the convention. All other attendees must pay for their registration at time of submission via credit card.
