    My aim is to place my puppies into responsible, well-prepared homes where they will receive the very best care, welfare, routines, love and guidance to thrive into happy adult spaniels, built from the foundations of their Trinkaurity start in life.

    Step 1: Application Screening

    I review your application regarding timing, breed, and coat preferences.

    If the initial screening is successful, we will arrange a phone call.

     

    Step 3: Formal Offer

    If both parties are happy to proceed, you will be invited to join the Trinkaurity Main Waiting List.

     

    Fees & Payments:

    Waiting List Fee:

    • A non-refundable £150 fee is required to secure your spot.
    • This is deducted from your final puppy balance.

    Pet Puppy Holding Fee:

    • A separate fee is placed later when you officially choose your puppy from a litter.
    • This is also deducted from your final balance.

  • Spaniels’ ears need regular cleaning and checking. Are you confident you can maintain this as part of your routine?*
  • Oral hygiene is an important part of lifelong care. Without regular cleaning, dogs can suffer from plaque build-up, gum disease, pain, and even the development of secondary systemic health issues (such as heart, liver, and kidney problems). How do you plan to care for your puppy’s teeth?*
  • Do you understand that neglecting coat maintenance can cause significant pain, suffering and welfare compromise, and in some cases may require Veterinary intervention? Failure to provide appropriate grooming and coat care would be considered a serious welfare concern causing pain and suffering.*

    Knowing Your Breed

    Cocker Spaniels are intelligent, sensitive, and highly social dogs that look to their families for safety and direction.

    They thrive on calm, consistent, and positive guidance rather than outdated "dominance" or "pack leader" theories.

    Without steady, predictable structure, puppies can become anxious and develop behavioural challenges.

    Your role is to provide clear boundaries and emotional security, acting as their reliable source of information and reassurance as they grow..

  • At Trinkaurity Cockers, lifelong welfare is my absolute priority, so I only offer formal placements to families fully committed to supporting their dog’s behavioural, emotional, physical, and developmental needs for life.

  • Every Trinkaurity puppy leaves with a strong foundation, and I recommend working with an ABTC-accredited (or IMDT/PACT) trainer during their early development to continue building their confidence and resilience.

  • Setting your puppy up for a confident life starts before they arrive home.  Families are expected to have chosen a suitable, positive-reinforcement training school prior to bringing their Trinkaurity puppy home.

  • Time Frame Wise: Trinkaurity Cockers highly recommend securing a professional, welfare-led training and behavioural support network for your puppy’s first two years to ensure you have expert guidance whenever you need it.

    Purpose of This Privacy Notice: The personal information you provide in this application will be used solely for the purpose of processing your enquiry and managing your potential placement on the Trinkaurity Cockers waiting list. Your data will not be sold, shared or disclosed to any third parties.

    Data Security and Access: All information submitted is protected with end-to-end encryption.  Access to application data is restricted exclusively to Laura Pope (Trinkaurity Cockers).  Your personal data is stored securely and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

    Data Retention and Annual Deletion Process: Trinkaurity Cockers conducts an annual data-erasure process each December.  During this process, all personal data relating to unsuccessful applicants, or families who have not secured a waiting list placement and/or a puppy is permanently deleted.  Applicants who wish to reapply after this point will need to submit a new application, as previously provided information is not retained following the annual erasure.

    Applicant Rights (UK GDPR): You will automatically receive a copy of your completed application upon submission.  Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request access to the personal data held about you, request rectification of inaccurate information, request deletion of your data (where applicable)  These rights may be exercised at any time by contacting: info@trinkaurity.co.uk.   

    Withdrawing Your Application: If you wish to withdraw your application, please contact Laura Pope using the above email address.  Your application will be withdrawn promptly and all associated data will be erased in line with statutory requirements.

    Data Sharing for Successful Applicants: For applicants who progress to reserving a puppy, certain personal details may be shared with specific third parties strictly for the purpose of fulfilling legal, welfare and administrative requirements associated with responsible puppy ownership.  Disclosures are limited to what is necessary and proportionate, and this will usually include only your name, postal address, telephone number and email address, unless additional information is legally required. 

    Data for successful applicants may be shared with:

    • Registered veterinary professionals if disclosure is legally required
    • DEFRA-compliant microchip registration databases if disclosure is legally required
    • The Kennel Club, for Pedigree Puppy Registration 
    • Agria Pet Insurance, for activating the complimentary 5-week insurance policy
    • The relevant dog food company to provide your complimentary puppy pack of food
    • Accredited trainers, for delivery of the pre-puppy 1:1 funded by Trinkaurity Cockers 
    • Local authorities or licensing bodies, where disclosure is legally required
    • Animal welfare authorities, if disclosure is necessary to report or address welfare concerns 

    All information is handled confidentially, and processed on a lawful basis, and shared only with parties who require it to fulfil their legal or professional responsibilities.  

    No data is shared for marketing purposes NOR for any purpose unrelated to the lawful homing of the puppy. 

    ICO Registration:  Trinkaurity Cockers takes the handling of personal data very seriously, and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller.  ICO Registration Number: ZB787968.

    Contingency in the Event of Death:  In the event of the death of the data controller (Laura Pope), all personal data held by Trinkaurity Cockers will be permanently deleted by the appointed executor of the estate. No data will be retained, transferred, accessed or processed by any other party.  This ensures full compliance with UK GDPR and prevents any unauthorised access to applicant information.
