Victory Hubs Rise
2026 Call for Applications
uCare supports Ukrainian nonprofit organizations building scalable and sustainable solutions for people adapting to life with war-related injuries—and for the families, employers, and communities rising with them.
What we are looking for
Projects may address amputations, facial and craniofacial injuries, severe burns, vision or hearing loss, spinal injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and other lasting consequences of war. We are especially interested in solutions that can reach people in smaller cities, towns, and rural communities across Ukraine.
How projects will be selected
Core criteria
Clear need and solution
The application must define a specific problem and explain clearly how the proposed project will address it.
Scalability
The project should be capable of reaching substantially more people without requiring a proportional increase in funding.
Sustainability
Applicants must explain how the project will continue creating value after the uCare grant ends.
Specific 2026 results
The application must include measurable targets, geographic reach, expected outcomes, and a realistic implementation timeline.
Budget and capacity
The budget must be detailed and credible. The team must demonstrate relevant experience and the ability to deliver the proposed work.
Accessibility and reuse
Preference is given to broadly accessible solutions and projects prepared to publish reusable tools, materials, or methodologies.
Technology and innovation are welcome
AI assistants, chatbots, mobile or web platforms, automation, open-source tools, peer networks, content libraries, and other replicable formats are encouraged where they improve reach, accessibility, or cost efficiency. Technology is a preference, not a requirement.
Projects outside the scope of this grant
We do not fund physical construction or infrastructure, in-person training as the primary deliverable, psychological counseling programs, one-time events, direct humanitarian aid, or projects that require continued uCare funding to operate.
Ready to apply?
Registered Ukrainian nonprofit organizations may apply for grants of up to $3,000 USD.
Applications must be submitted by August 31, 2026.
Applications without a detailed line-item budget or specific 2026 targets will not be reviewed. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a follow-up conversation before the final decision.
