Why give to the Black W Street Campaign?

Isaiah 58:12 “You shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to live in.”
This initiative is a radical act of resistance, not a building fund.

As spiritual communities are being displaced across DC, Union Temple Baptist Church is determined to stay rooted in our great city! We are building a liberation roadmap—Blueprint for Black Futures—to actively address multiple areas of need.

Through this five-year commitment, we will invest in essential pillars to inspire and strengthen our community. These priorities include food justice, youth education, mental health support, economic development, and neighborhood stability.
