Application Instructions:
Please carefully review the information below. This will contain application steps, outline the information you will need to provide, and list necessary contact information for the UHOP Application team.
All steps must be completed by January 17th, 2025 at 11:59 PM. We must receive all application materials in order to be considered.

Step 3: Throughout the application you will be asked to provide the following uploads:
- Attach your RESUME, which should include academic, extracurricular, and employment information.
- Attach your ESSAY #1 (no more than 1,200 words in response to this statement: "Describe why you wish to be a doctor and how you will help achieve the purpose of the UHOP prorgam."
- Attach your ESSAY #2 (no more than 1,200 words in response to this statement: "Describe what you will bring to the healthcare career field of your choice - your values, talents, and life experiences - and how you add to the cultural, multilingual, ethnic, and/or socioeconomic diversity of this clinical profession."
- Attach all relevant transcripts (highschool, college)
- Have TWO LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION sent to unohealthcareers@unomaha.edu
- Letters of recommendation can be from the following: a high school principal, a high school counselor, a high school science teacher, an academic advisor, a college professor, and/or a medical professional.
- Please see attached letter request to be given to letter writers in the application.
Note: Application is open to both high school seniors and current college students.
