Thank you for your interest in serving on the UnPuzzled Parents Connect Board of Directors.

Our Board plays an important role in supporting the mission, growth, and sustainability of our organization. We are looking for individuals who believe in our mission and are willing to actively contribute their time, experience, skills, connections, and ideas to help us continue serving families.

Please review the Board Member Responsibilities below before completing your application.

Board Member Responsibilities:

Serving on the UnPuzzled Parents Connect Board of Directors is an active leadership role. Board members are expected to actively support the mission, growth, and sustainability of the organization.

Board members are expected to:

-Commit a minimum of 4 hours per month to UnPuzzled Parents Connect. This time may include Board meetings, committee responsibilities, volunteering, events, fundraising, outreach, and other organizational needs.
-Attend and actively participate in scheduled Board meetings.
-Serve on at least one Board committee and actively contribute to its work.
-Volunteer at UnPuzzled programs, events, trainings, and community activities throughout the year.
-Participate in fundraising efforts and help identify potential donors, sponsors, partnerships, and other funding opportunities.
-Serve as an ambassador for UnPuzzled Parents Connect by promoting our mission, programs, events, and accomplishments within personal and professional networks.
-Help develop relationships and community connections that can further the organization's mission.
-Participate in organizational decision-making and provide thoughtful input on matters brought before the Board.
-Review and approve the organization's annual budget and provide appropriate financial oversight.
-Follow the organization's bylaws, policies, conflict-of-interest requirements, and Board expectations.

I understand that serving on the UnPuzzled Parents Connect Board of Directors is an active leadership and governance position. I have reviewed the Board Member Responsibilities outlined in this application, including the expectation to commit a minimum of 4 hours per month to the organization.

I understand that Board service includes regular meeting attendance, committee participation, volunteering, fundraising and donor engagement, community outreach, organizational decision-making, and serving as an ambassador for UnPuzzled Parents Connect.
