Where are you comfortable initially pricing your dress at (i.e you paid $1000, 30% off is $700)?
Your gown will be subject to a price reduction scale of up to 30% off the first initial price.
Urban Bride Inc uses a price reduction scale based on the length my dress takes to resell
After 90 days your items are subject to 20% off and after 120 days your item is subjected to 30% off the initial list price. If you do not want your gown reduced. You will be responsible for contacting Urban Bride Inc in writing to pick up your items at 90 days or 120 days. We will NOT contact you with reduction notice.

If you are listing more than 30% off your dress original price or more than what you paid, consignment may not be the option for you. For example, you paid $1000 and you want to receive $500 for your dress, then we would have to sell your dress at $1000 for you to receive this amount.

Legal Consignment Terms & Conditions
Initial Assessment:

Ensure that your wedding dress has been pre-qualified to avoid disappointment. We are very selective on our wedding gowns based on their age, style, condition and designer. Urban Bride Inc reserves the right not to select any item for consignment. Items not selected must be retrived within 4 business days. Unselected items not retrieved by the Consignor within 5 business days will be disposed of with no recourse for any loss.
Sales Protocol of Selected Items:

Selected items will undergo appraisal and will be entered in the Consignor’s account. These items will be contracted with Urban Bride Inc for a maximum of 6 months, with an option of renewal at the discrection of Urban Bride Inc. and will be communicated by email.

Unsold items undergo a 20% markdown 30% after 120 days. Urban Bride Inc reserves the right to markdown items 10% at anytime due to unforeseen flaws or damage. Urban Bride Inc hold no liability for stolen or damaged items.
Item Withdrawal and Contract Cancellation Terms:

Any removal of items from the account at the Consignor’s request during the six-month period is subject to a $20 processing fee.
Payment for Sold Items:

Upon Sale, 50% of the proceeds (excluding gst, special fees) go to the Consignor’s account, payable by cheque or etransfer. All cheques not cashed after 3 months will be nil and void. If you purchased your bridal gown from Urban Bride Inc, you will receive an additional 10% commission.
Terms of Contract: The Consignor is accountable for verifying the accuracy of their contact information, updating current records, and ensuring the provided email address can receive correspondence from urbanbrideinc@gmail.com.

The terms of this contract may be updated periodically and will be binding. Continuing to consign items at Urban Rack signifies agreement to the latest contract terms. The current contract terms are accessible on our website www.urbanbrideinc.com and can be provided upon request.This contract replaces and nullifies any previous contract for your Consignment Account with Urban Bride Inc.
Procedure for Handling Unsold Items:

Unsold items will be earmarked for donation after their designated selling period unless otherwise agreed. Upon the Consignor’s request, unsold items can be reserved for pickup. The Consignor must collect items within one week of notification. All items left uncollected will be donated without discrimination. Subsequently, any future unsold items from the Consignor will be donated without prior notification. Donated items will be sold at Urban Bride Clearance Sales, and the proceeds, minus expenses, will go to designated charities. Any remaining unsold items, will then be donated to a non-profit organization.
Insurance & Liability:

All items are at the consignors risk. The consignor hereby agrees not to hold Urban Bride Inc , its' employee, its' officers and agents responsible for consigned items that are lost, stolen, damaged by cause whatsoever includinng wear and tear, fire, smoke, water damage, etc. Urban Bride Inc does not insure items that are not company owned. Reach out to your Home Insurance for an extension policy for your items.
