2025 Downtown Trick-or-Treat Participation Application

Thank you for applying to participate in an evening of safe and fun trick-or-treating in Downtown Valparaiso!

DEADLINES TO APPLY:

NON-Downtown Business: Friday, October 3 @ 5:00 p.m. CST

Downtown Business: Monday, October 13 @ 5:00 p.m. CST

Any applications received AFTER Tuesday, September 30th are NOT guaranteed to be included in marketing materials and social media posts produced by Valparaiso Events.

Important Notes:
- There is no fee to join on the fun, but we ask that you provide enough candy for all trick-or-treaters for the duration of the event.
- Plan on approximately 3,000 little ghosts and goblins
- A representative must be stationed at your designated location to hand out candy.
- Be in costume if you can!
- Along with candy, consider handing out coupons or information to promote your business/organization to parents.
- NEW this year - Halloween Movie Night will take place in Central Park Plaza following trick-or-treating starting at 7:00 p.m.! All non-downtown business participants located in Central Park Plaza will be asked to have all of your belongings out of the park by 6:30 for attendees to utilize the park for movie seating.

- VE will assign you a location and will communicate where your 10' X 10' space will be located via email 1 week prior to the event. (October 10, 2025)
