    Thank you for applying to participate in an evening of safe and fun trick-or-treating in Downtown Valparaiso!

    DEADLINES TO APPLY:

    NON-Downtown Business: Friday, October 9 @ 5:00 p.m. CST

    Downtown Business: Monday, October 19 @ 5:00 p.m. CST

    Any applications received AFTER Friday, October 2 are NOT guaranteed to be included in marketing materials and social media posts produced by Valparaiso Events.

    Important Notes:

    • There is no fee to join on the fun, but we ask that you provide enough candy for all trick-or-treaters for the duration of the event.
    • Plan on approximately 3,000 little ghosts and goblins
    • A representative must be stationed at your designated location to hand out candy.
    • Be in costume if you can!
    • Along with candy, consider handing out coupons or information to promote your business/organization to parents.

    -  Select either the "Central Park Plaza" or "Courthouse lawn" option.

    -  VE will assign you a location and will communicate where your 10' X 10' space will be located via email 1 week prior to the event. (October 16, 2026)
