Who I am and what I offer:

Hi, I’m Vesta, the heart behind Vesta’s Photography. As a mother to four incredible children, my life is filled with love, chaos, and a deep appreciation for the beauty in everyday moments. My passion for photography is rooted in my own journey of motherhood—the anticipation, the challenges, and the indescribable joy of raising a family.

I’m not just a photographer; I’m someone who truly connects with the families I work with. My intuition allows me to sense what you and your little ones need during our time together, whether it’s calming a restless newborn, capturing a tender moment, or offering support during the intense, emotional moments of labor.

With a background in Early Childhood Education and certifications as a Doula and in newborn safety posing, I bring both expertise and a nurturing touch to every session. I believe in creating a space where families feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me gardening (my happy place), camping with my family, or laughing around a fire. These simple joys fuel my creativity and remind me why I do what I do: to help families freeze moments in time and turn them into memories that will last a lifetime.

In the studio:

I offer a tranquil environment for newborn sessions, allowing us to follow the natural pace of your baby. Ensuring the little one remains content and comfortable is my foremost priority throughout the session. My studio is equipped with a diverse range of props, table fabrics, and accessories, including headbands, bonnets, sleepy caps, and adorable outfits. Additionally, clients have access to a wardrobe featuring elegant gowns and stylish children's clothing. To cater to siblings, there's a playroom available, ensuring everyone stays engaged while we capture those precious newborn poses.

Important tips to help your newborn session

 

-Try to keep baby awake for at least 1 to 2 hours before the session. This will make it easier to capture those sleepy images!
-If your baby uses a pacifier please have it on hand.
-Have baby well-fed and in a sleeper (PJ).
-Bring extra diapers
-Extra bottles
-The studio is kept warm to keep baby happy so do not overdress.
