Consumers should immediately take the recalled rattles away from children, stop using them and contact Playgro for a free replacement, including shipping.

Description: This recall involves Playgro’s Clip Clop activity rattles. The horse-shaped, plush, stuffed rattle is blue and has four legs, two of which are rattles and one has a mirror.  The horse comes with an abacus bar and three beads attached to its back. Clip Clop is written on a green name tag on the side of the horse. The Playgro logo appears on the front of a sewn-in seam label and batch code number 010053 or 010082 is printed on the back of the label. The UPC code is 9321104011459 is located on the original packaging.  Incidents/Injuries: None reported.

Sold exclusively at: Walmart stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com from September 2020 through February 2021 for about $5.

As a company and a brand we value your trust in Playgro and understand the importance of being transparent and proactive. We consider the safety of your child our greatest obligation.

As such Playgro have decided to voluntarily withdraw specific batches of the items below as we are not satisfied that these meet our own ‘Playgro standard’ with regards to durability. 

Even though these items have passed applicable global Safety Standard’s testing, for us that is simply not enough. Exceeding these standards are a parent’s high expectation of design, quality and value, together with three decades of our own experience developing infant toys. We call this our ‘Playgro standard’, and it is the benchmark against which we consistently measure our products. 

As parents ourselves, we know how much this matters.

Playgro is voluntarily withdrawing the following batches of item:

0101145 - Clip Clop Activity Rattle with China as the country of origin and limited to certain batch numbers.

This product withdrawal applies only to: 

• goods made in China 
• the specific batch codes 
• items purchased between 1st September 2020 to 10th February 2021

Any goods made in Bangladesh are NOT affected.

You can find the batch code and country of origin on the sew in label, which is attached to the right hand side of the item.

If you have one of these affected batches, we kindly request that you please stop using this item and contact us via the form below for a replacement.
