JUNIOR PICKLEBALL CAMPS

Coach Garza brings high energy to the fastest-growing sport in America! Two levels take players from fundamentals through match strategy. Meet at the Racquet Courts. Each week is its own camp — register for as many weeks as you'd like.

The camps will be Tues/Wed/Thur, minimum 4 students, maximum 8, every week between June 23rd-August 27th. 

Please note, any camps that fail to meet the min registration number by the Friday prior to camp will be canceled (registered families will be notified promptly).

 

Camp times and descriptions:

JUNIORS - Ages 6-9

Learn the fundamentals through engaging drills, rally games, and match play that build hand-eye coordination and court awareness.

TIME: 11:30-12:15pm / COST: $70 members/$80 non-members

 

INTERMEDIATES - Ages 10-14

Build on fundamentals through targeted drills, live rallies, and match play designed to sharpen court awareness and elevate each player's overall game.

TIME: 12:15-1:15pm / COST: $80 members/$90 non-members

If someone other than the parent or guardian is picking up or dropping off the student, please let Coach Garza know in advance.

Please bring students to camp in appropriate court footwear, with sunscreen and water.

Rainouts will be rescheduled if possible.

 

NEW! Pilot program! Cool off after tennis at the pool!

Open swim time is between 12-2pm only Tuesday-Thursday (must be added as part of a camp, cannot be purchased separately). This is for the registered camper only, and a parent or guardian MUST be present at the pool with the camper.

Cost: free for members  l  $25/week for non-members

RELEASE & WAIVER: I hereby release VIGCC, Sandpiper Cafe, the tennis lesson instructor(s), and all students in the program from any harm and liability, either passive or active due to negligence on the part of the undersigned and/or the student and/or the instructor(s). I will not hold liable the aforementioned group(s) for any harm sustained on the premises of VIGCC or the Sandpiper Cafe.
