Our Stroke School, Junior Swim Team, and Senior Swim Team practices are all held Monday-Thursday (you can choose how many days/week you would like to attend).

Summer Season Schedule: (please take note of the schedule shift)

This session begins on Monday, June 16th and ends on Thursday, August 21st. 

• For the first 1.5 weeks (June 16th - June 24th) practices will be held in the evening (4-5pm for Senior Team and 5-6pm for Junior Team/Stroke School). 
• From June 25th through August 21st practices will be held in the morning (8-9:30am for Senior Team and 9-10am for Junior Team/Stroke School).

You do not need to be a member of our Vashon Island Golf & Country Club to be on the Stingrays swim team. However, if you are a member, your swim tuition is discounted. (If you are interested in signing up for a membership, please contact Heidi Lang in the office at 206-463-9410x1).

Tuition Cost (all prices are for the full season - swimmers joining partway through a season will receive prorated tuition):

Welcome to our Stingray Swim Team! 

Tuition is handled through the Vashon Island Golf & Country Club. However, as part of the swim team, all swimmers are also responsible for a separate booster club fee of $68 for the 1st swimmer, and $34 for any additional swimmers (made payable to VSST and brought directly to Coach Dayna) as well as an annual USA Swim Fee (paid directly to USA Swim). Once you are registered, Coach Dayna will send you a link to complete your registration and online payment to USA Swim.

M.A.A.P.P. is the USA Swim required form for our Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy. Lystedt form is the universal concussion information form. All parents/guardians must sign both forms and have them on file with the Vashon Stingrays Swim Team.

Volunteer Requirements:

All parents and swimmers are expected to volunteer and participate fully in our Swim Marathon in the Spring and in a choice of bake sales within each year.

Media Release:

I give the Vashon Island Golf and Country Club and the Vashon Stingrays Swim Team permission to use images and/or video of my child(ren) and myself in its publications, website, and marketing. This information, images, and/or video will be released to news media to acknowledge a swimmer's achievements or receipt of an award or scholarship.

Vashon Golf and Country Club Aqautic Liability:

All exercises and use of all facilities shall be undertaken at your own risk. VIGCC shall not be liable for any claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or causes of action whatsoever to person or property arising out of acts or passive negligence on the part of the VIGCC, its servants, agents, or employees.
