SUMMER SWIM CAMPS

Learn to Swim
Vashon Island Golf & Country Club is offering a full schedule of swim instruction throughout the summer. Give your kids the skills they need to be safe and have fun this summer with the most experienced instruction!

Registration forms must be received the Thursday before classes start. To better teach your child, class sizes are limited, therefore walk-ins will not be allowed.

Camps begin and run every two weeks, from June 30 until August 21, Monday through Thursday. Classes are 30 minutes in length. 

You do not need to be a member of Vashon Island Golf & Country Club to attend our swim camps, but if you are a member, your tuition is discounted (please contact the office at 206-463-9410 x1 if you are interested in becoming a member).

Cost per swimmer: Members: $112/camp;  Non-Members: $128/camp

Classes are 1/2 hour in length, with morning class times offered between 10am-12pm and afternoon classes between 3pm-6pm. Classes are grouped by skill level, so while we will do our best to accommodate your preferred time(s), we cannot guarantee it.

Vashon Island Golf and Country Club General Swim Policies:

Welcome to the Vashon Island Golf and Country Club’s Stingrays Swim programs! This includes the Competitive Team, Stroke School, Li’l Rays, Baby Rays, and Saturday lessons. Thank you for choosing us! We take pride in the level of experience our staff has to offer and look forward to this opportunity to be a part of your child's swimming journey. 

Below is a list of guidelines that will help ensure a smooth and fair experience.

1. Unless prior instructor approval is given, children must be approximately 4 years or older to participate in group lessons (with the exception of Baby Rays).
2. A parent or guardian must be available during the lessons.
3. Proper swim apparel must be worn, ie: diapers, hair ties, cap, suit (no land clothing).
4. Unless you are a member of Vashon Island Golf and Country Club, or the guest of a member, there is no free swimming allowed outside of lessons.
5. Payment for swim lessons is due in advance, and is non-refundable. There are no refunds for missed lessons.

All exercises and use of all facilities shall be undertaken at your own risk. VIGCC shall not be liable for any claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or causes of action whatsoever to person or property arising out of acts or passive negligence on the part of the VIGCC, its servants, agents, or employees.
