Discover the unexpected beauty hidden within the pages of antique books. In this relaxing mixed-media workshop, you’ll transform vintage book pages into meaningful blackout poetry by finding words and phrases that speak to you. Then, you’ll incorporate your finished poem into a one-of-a-kind collage using curated papers, textures, and embellishments.

No writing or art experience is necessary. This class is about exploration, creativity, and enjoying the process. You’ll leave with a finished piece that blends literature and visual art into a personal keepsake worthy of framing.

All materials are provided, including antique book pages and specialty collage papers. Come enjoy a creative afternoon of reflection, conversation, and artistic discovery.

This class is for seniors (55+) and will be at the South County Senior Center located at  217 S Main St, Vicksburg, MI (inside the United Methodist Church).
