About the Intro to Watercolor Workshop:
Nancy Smith has designed this relaxed and beginner-friendly class for those with little to no experience. This class will introduce you to professional-grade watercolor materials in a fun and supportive environment. You’ll learn the basics of water-to-paint ratio, color application, and how to embrace the natural, spontaneous flow of watercolor.
No previous art experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
The class is Wednesday, August 20, 1:00 to 2:30 and costs $20. All materials will be provided. The class will be located at the South County Senior Center for Active Living, located in the United Methodist Church, 217 S Main St, Vicksburg.
Note: This is the last of 4 monthly sessions on watercolor techniques. Although Nancy has been introducing new ideas in each class, no class is a prerequisite for any other class. Classes are limited to 8 to insure that students get the support they need.
About Senior Arts Classes:
Classes are reserved for seniors 55 and older. You can bring an adult child who is not yet 55+, a grandchild 12 and older, or a friend who hasn't quite made it to 55. Indicate the number of spots to reserve at check out. Please limit to one person under 55 per class.
