Thank you for registering for the Writers Clinic. The Clinic is Saturday, March 7, 10 am to 2 pm at the Vicksburg District Library, 215 S Michigan Ave, Vicksburg, MI. Published authors and educators will be on hand to provide valuable insight into your work. 

You may choose to bring up to 3 written pieces to work at the clinic. However, we recommend that you start with just one piece at the clinic and, if time permits, we can work with you on the other pieces.

You will want to bring a device so you can edit your work at the clinic. If you don't have a device you can bring, we will have access to a limited number of computers. 

You do not have to submit drafts ahead of time, but doing so will provide the best experience for you. If you don't submit a draft with this registration, you can email a draft to us at info@vicksburgarts.org as late as Wednesday, March 4. We will also check in with you on Tuesday, March 3 via email. At that time you can choose to submit and/or update drafts.

The cost of this clinic is $35 for adults and $20 for students (high school and younger). We firmly believe that arts access should be for everyone, so we have a Pay-What-You-Can Scholarship program. Please note that middle and elementary aged participants will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Based on your child's age, you have the option to allow us to include your teen on any communications regarding this program that we send to you. We will never sell or share your High Schooler's contact information. Please indicate your preference:

The normal registration fee for the Writers Clinic is $20 for students and $35 for adults. To provide access to as many people as possible, we ask you to contribute what you can to the registration fee.

At checkout, select Student or Adult, then enter one of these options into the coupon code and click the APPLY button. The total on the check out page should reflect the amount that you can pay.

You can upload 3 files now if you don't plan on working on your drafts before the clinic. You can also email drafts to admin@vicksburgarts.org as late as Wednesday, Feb 18. We will also send you a reminder for this option to submit drafts prior to the clinic on February 17. Submitting drafts before the clinic is not required, but will allow coaches time to read through submissions before the clinic begins.
