About the Powder House Apartments Lottery

These are not subsidized units. Please review the rents and income levels in the next field below. To afford these rents, applicants will need to make at least three times the monthly rent, or have a mobile voucher in hand.

Description

Powder House is a multi-family complex of five buildings containing 29 apartments in the heart of Manchester-by-the-Sea. This community offers a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartment homes with a wide variety of floorplans. Powder House Apartments is a mixed-income community – income qualifications and rent restrictions may apply.

Households of 1-4 persons will be eligible. Households of five or more may be considered ineligible due to over crowding of the units.

Bordering the Powder House Hill Reservation, our professionally managed and maintained buildings overlook Central Pond and conveniently offer a short walk to the train, market, stores, and restaurants. Powder House Apartments is less than a 10 minute walk from the commuter rail, Crosby’s Market, the Post Office and Town Hall.

The living spaces at Powder House Apartments are thoughtfully designed with comfort and convenience in mind, and are stylishly appointed with the kind of premium materials and finishes you won’t find in any other apartments for rent in Manchester By The Sea. Laundry facilities, Cycle parking, On-site parking, and
extra storage space available.

The development does not current have accessible units but may convert one or two units to be mobility accessible as part of future rehabilitation effortts. Should accessible units be created, first preference for moility acciesible or adaptable units shall be given to household requiring the features of those units.
