Reports to: Administrator, Secondary Supervisor, and Wakulla Christian School Board.
Qualifications: Hold at least a bachelor’s degree or higher which is appropriate for the expectations of the position. Preference is given to those with experience in Christian education and a degree from a Christian College that holds to the same beliefs as Wakulla Christian School.

Faculty members are required to believe and adhere to the WCS statement of Faith and Statement of Standards listed below:
- All teaching must be consistent with the Scriptures and the Statement of Faith of Wakulla Christian School. The content of what is taught at WCS must be consistent with and not contrary to the WCS Statement of Faith. The WCS Statement of Faith is the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.
- The worldview of faculty should be a distinctly Christian Worldview. A Biblical Worldview permeates every aspect of the educational process which makes it distinctively different. Faculty are required to teach from this perspective and to continue training in this area in order to teach from a Biblical worldview.
- Faculty members must be actively and passionately following Jesus Christ and actively engaged in a local church that is similar in belief to the WCS Statement of Faith.
- Faculty members should be an example of Godliness in their lifestyle, appearance, social media, communication with students, parents, staff and the community.
Primary Responsibilities: Provide instructional, moral, ethical, and spiritual instruction for assigned students in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of the school and the adopted curriculum and programs.
Specific Duties:
- Serve as a regular member of the instructional staff and complete those responsibilities normally expected of a classroom teacher.
- Provide a loving and controlled classroom environment.
- Effectively plan, prepare and implement daily lesson plans for classroom instruction.
- Utilize a variety of educational activities that enhance and engage students in learning.
- Provide for the safety and well-being of the students by recognizing potential dangers and by giving very close personal supervision.
- Guarantee the safety of students by never leaving the students unsupervised in the classroom or the playground.
- Ability to manage the classroom in such a way that a positive, supportive environment is created and beneficial to all students and their education needs.
- Attend planning and training meetings as required by the Administration.
- Communicate with parents and student’s clear expectations and meets with parents regarding student progress.
- Cooperate with other teachers and school administration in order to assure a smooth program.
- Assist the administration by consistently implementing school policies and procedures in the classroom.
- Maintain a positive Christian environment throughout the school by resolving personal conflicts in accordance with Biblical guidelines.
- Be involved in the extra-curricular activities of the school as appropriate for the grade level assigned.
- Plan appropriate filed trips in cooperation with the administration.
- Give careful attention to the dress code for students and the dress code for teachers and follow set guidelines.
- Assist with spiritual development of students by being involved in the regular school chapel programs by guiding students on matters of spiritual and personal concern.
- Ability to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ to students and lead students to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
- Be diligent in submitting all required reports on time.
- Cooperate with the administration by following school procedures and using adopted forms to carry out responsibilities.
- Become totally familiar with all school policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties consistent with the teaching profession as assigned.
- Consistently on time and use leave appropriately.
