Thank you for considering WARM for your volunteering journey. WARM is open Monday - Saturday, 10 AM - 4 PM. We ask that, when you Volunteer, you give us at least 2 hours of your time. Completing the application process does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Service placement is at the discretion of WARM.

You must be at least 13 years old to volunteer, anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or group chaperone. Minors will require the signature of a Parent/Guardian on this application.

You are applying to volunteer as a part of a group. Groups are typically made up of 5-20 people volunteering together (i.e., a church youth group, school club, etc.). Your group leader or contact will need to reach out to WARM separately to schedule your group's service date and time. Please have them use the Group Volunteer Request form on our website. https://warmwaller.org/volunteer
For court-ordered community service at WARM, you must upload your court documents (order from the court and service log) to this application. WARM will perform a public record search, we are not able to accept anyone with violent crimes on their record.
Individual volunteers will need to complete a background check as a part of this application process. After you submit this application, you will receive an email or text message with the link to the background check service that is used by WARM. Once we have reviewed your application and background check we will contact you to start your volunteering journey.

Release Agreement
The Volunteer desires to work as a volunteer for Waller Assistance & Restoration Ministries, Inc. (“WARM”) and engage in the activities related to being a volunteer. The Volunteer does hereby freely, voluntarily, and without duress execute this Agreement under the following terms:

Volunteer Standards & Guidelines

I confirm that I have read and agree to abide by WARM’s Volunteer Standards & Guidelines (the latest version is online at https://warmwaller.org).

Confidentiality

I acknowledge that from time to time I may receive confidential and sensitive information concerning the business of WARM, its Board of Directors, employees and the clients it serves. Accordingly, I agree that I, except as necessary to conduct the business of WARM, shall not disclose, copy, communicate, divulge, or use any sensitive or confidential material, including but not limited to financial, personal, employment, charitable, counseling, or other knowledge.

Medical

My permission is granted for WARM, and its representatives to obtain necessary, emergency medical attention in case of sickness or injury for the Volunteer. I do hereby release and forever discharge WARM from any claim whatsoever which arises or may hereafter arise on account of any medical attention rendered in connection with the Volunteer’s Activities with WARM.

Indemnification / Hold Harmless

I do hereby release, forever discharge and hold harmless WARM and the Officers, Directors, Employees and Volunteers thereof, from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, sickness or death, as well as property damage and expenses. We intend claims to mean any and all demands, rights, claims, damages, suits, actions, costs and fees that you may have against WARM that may arise, directly or indirectly, out of activities described in this release. The parties expressly agree that this agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Texas, or any state within the United States in which the activities occur, and that if any portion of the agreement is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect.

Information Release

I hereby authorize WARM to conduct a periodic review of my background. I understand that I will be contacted separately to complete this background screening and that WARM will use a third party to perform this service.

Photographic Release

This release also grants WARM permission to publish and print; in electronic, print or video format, the likeness or image of the Volunteer.
