The first phase of any good design is to understand what you would like your garden to look and feel like so we can ensure it is tailor made for you. This questionnaire will help us clarify your exact requirements, your likes and dislikes and the extent of the project you wish to undertake. Once completed we will then discuss in detail before proceeding any further.

How long have you lived in the property?
How long are you intending to stay in the property?
Will any future building work affect the garden?
Who will use the garden? What are their age groups? What are their physical capabilities?
Which rooms of the house are used to access the garden?
In which areas would you be most likely to sit, when and why?
Other than sitting outside, how else will the garden be used?
Is the property within a conservation area and/or do any trees have preservation orders?
Is the property a listed building?

In order to develop appropriate design ideas please provide an indication of your preferred budget for landscaping. If you are considering implementation in phases please also indicate below.

Understanding your ideas, preferences and dreams for your garden is important to us. It is important we visualise your garden and to do this we ask for a collection of images to represent your ideas. For this we ask you to create a moodboard.

Pinterest and Google Images are great for this. You could also create a scrapbook of things you like, ideas you have seen. It is important for us to understand your ideas. This could be styles, colours, textures, materials, layout, furniture, plants.

Let your creativity go wild! Don't hold back, understanding what you do not like is just as important as understanding what you do.
