  • The Beach Access Project Survey

    Making beaches accessible for Everyone

  • Participant information
What is the purpose of this survey?

This research survey has been designed by Will Behenna from the Beach Access Project, an organisation dedicated to enabling people with medical / mental health conditions and disabilities (PMHCD), to better access beaches and blue space in the UK. The research aims to investigate the factors which influence people with medical / mental health conditions and disabilities accessing the beach environment including the water. The study seeks to understand the barriers to beach access, how they can be improved and if these improvements will support more PMHCD to go to the beach.

    Why have I been invited?
You have been invited to take part because you have identified yourself as having a medical / mental health condition and or disability or you are completing this questionnaire on behalf of someone who has.

How long will the questionnaire/online survey take to complete?
The online survey will take around 10 minutes to complete.
